'Little Bream' is a cosy barn cottage (sleeps 2) in the hamlet of Meudon between Falmouth and the Helford River, within walking distance of Mawnan Smith, Maenporth beach, a pub, cafes and restaurants. 10 minutes drive into Falmouth and also to the Falmouth University Tremough Campus. Little Bream has a sea view from the bedroom, and a garden/BBQ area and is set in 2 acres of garden. 10 mins walk to the South West Coast Path
Little Bream is a two storey attached cottage which was built in 2016, attached but with its own separate entrance. It comprises an open plan fully fitted kitchen, dining and lounge with stairs up to large bedroom with super king size bed, open plan luxury shower and separate WC. The lounge has an armchair and a comfy sofa. It is equipped with Wi-Fi, smart TV, books and games. The dining area has a table and chairs for cosy evenings in. Even though there is underfloor heating, there is also a woodburning effect electric fire to keep it cosy on those autumn/winter evenings. The shaker style kitchen is fully fitted with granite worktops, ceramic hob, oven with grill, extractor fan, washing machine, dishwasher, coffee machine, toaster, kettle and food processor. There is also a laundry rack, ironing board and iron. Stairs take you up to the large open plan bedroom. Please note there is no door separating the downstairs from the upstairs, but there is a door to the WC! There is a huge luxury power shower, towel rail, basin and mirror. The whole house has a douglas fir wooden frame which adds much character to this newly built barn conversion. There are two large Velux windows with blackout blinds, one of which has a beautiful sea view. Little Bream has two areas for sitting out; a table and chairs to enjoy breakfast al fresco on the lawn to the east, and on the other side of the barn a gravelled area with BBQ, as well as a high table and chairs to enjoy a glass of wine whilst the sun sets to the west. There is a dedicated car parking space for 'Little Bream'. We are eco friendly with an air source heat pump providing underfloor heating and plenty of hot water, and we have our own sewage treatment plant. Please note that when we have clicked yes to 'Air Con' it is a mechanical ventilation heat recovery system. Towels, bedding and T towels are all included
Meudon is a small hamlet consisting of a small dairy farm, a few pretty cottages, a hotel with beautiful grounds to the sea and a great bar and restaurant. Our most famous residents are Arthur, Avis, Maureen and Mavis, our beautiful peacocks who roam around the hamlet and as of September 2017 we have two little peacock babies (chickpeas) running around too. Within ten minutes walk is the pretty village of Mawnan Smith with its thatched pub, fantastic Spanish Tapas restaurant, fabulous cafe 'The Cornish Maid', and two shops. Trebah and Glendurgan gardens are both within 5 mins drive from 'Little Bream'. In the opposite direction is Maenporth beach, with its award winning restaurant 'The Cove', beach cafe, watersports rentals, and beautiful sandy beach. We are also 10-15 minutes walk from Bream Cove, our little secret, so shhhhh don't tell everyone! A simply beautiful place to swim, and relatively undiscovered......

There is one double bedroom and the second bedroom can be set up as twin beds or these can be joined together to make a super king, let us know which you would prefer. Little Gwendreath is a collection of four holiday cottages set within the Lizard national nature reserve in Cornwall. Our local beach, Kennack Sands, is 15 mins walk away and the South West Coast Path passes nearby.
Little Gwendreath Holiday Cottages is comprised of the main farm house built in the late 19th century and the cottages which were originally the farm outbuildings. Each of our cottages has two bedrooms with a double bed in the main bedroom and either a twin or super king in the second. Outside there is a private garden for each cottage and a laundry room for your use. Also inside the laundry room is a selection of leaflets about local attractions and a bookshelf should you need anything to read on your holiday. To the east is a small stream and path that leads down to the beach at Kennack sands. The area surrounding Little Gwendreath is a national nature reserve and a site of special scientific interest complete with rare species of flora and fauna. Kennack sands is divided into two beaches by Carn Kennack (a small hill). There are two café’s next to the beach and you can also learn to surf at Kennack Sands Surf School. The east beach is dog friendly.

A traditional Cornish stone built cottage, situated directly on the SW Coast path. Stunning, panoramic sea views and just 3 minute stroll into the unspoilt village of Coverack. Large double room with impressive sea views in a comfortable house full of period features. Friendly and welcoming hosts. Not suitable for children.
The cottage is situated on the South West Coast path and is therefore perfect for walkers. Stunning sea views in a traditional cottage full of period features. It is a 3 minute walk to the village, which has shops, cafes, restaurants and a pub. We serve a traditional English breakfast every morning - although all dietary requirements are catered for. We have parking. The house is very old and has uneven floors, steep stairs and the parking area behind the house is accessed by 2 flights of uneven, gravel covered steps - it is therefore unsuitable for small children. The bathroom and toilet are downstairs and the bedroom is upstairs.
It is very peaceful and beautiful in Coverack. It is a designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Although there is a very good pub, a couple of shops and a couple of very good restaurants in the village, Coverack retains it's timeless, unspoilt charm. Coverack is a very good base from which to explore the Lizard Peninsula - either by foot on the SW Coast path or by car. As we are on the Southernmost tip of England, you are almost guaranteed some sunshine every day - even in the Winter. The climate is very gentle and frosts are virtually unknown in Coverack. The village has been featured recently on the BBC 'Countryfile' programme.

My place is close to great views. You’ll love my place because of the cosiness, the location, the people, and the views. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and furry friends (pets).
Just yards from the beach in this tranquil, quintessential Cornish fishing village, an enchanting detached stone studio. Close to beautiful coastal walks leading around the Lizard peninsula and along the shoreline of the Helford River. Full of character with a mezzanine double bed area enjoying glimpses of the sea, kitchenette, living area and a shower/utility room, packing everything one would need into a perfectly formed space. Ideally located with a tranquil part of Cornwall yet close proximity to the Helford River, Helston, Lizard Peninsula. Nearby attractions include Goonhilly, Trelowarren, Roskilly's and local diving at Polkerris. Great for short or long breaks away from the city. Ideal for those who want quiet break away from the hustle and bustle of work and traffic noise. From the Cornish meaning 'port at the end of the moor', Porthallow's history has always been inextricably linked with the sea. A former thriving Pilchard port, small fishing boats are still hauled onto the beach to this day. A number of buildings in the village also exhibit tell tale signs of the industry, if a little less obvious to the casual observer - The Association's Institute building is sighted over a former pilchard cellar! Set in the heart of the small fishing village of Porthallow with the beach is just a few minutes' walk away. The South West Coast Path is just 50 metres from the studio, offering excellent coastal views across Falmouth Bay to St. Anthony's Head, and a beautiful walk to Gillan Creek and the Helford River. Porthallow beach is used by local fishermen, and it is possible to drive onto the beach to launch canoes and dinghies. The local pub, The Five Pilchards, offers a warm welcome to visitors and there is a craft shop with locally made pottery. The village shops in St Keverne, just a couple of miles away, offer comprehensive supplies. The local wildlife is abundant, with buzzards circling over the valley and seals occasionally visiting the bay. The Old Stable is in probably one of the most peaceful spots in Cornwall, and offers the opportunity for a truly relaxing holiday by the sea.

¡Cuida tu cabeza!

Blue Feathers situated overlooking the ocean, close to a quiet, secluded sandy beach which is just a short walk through the countryside. The property is only a short distance away from the heart of St Keverne with its lovely village square, church, two pubs, butchers and shop. Walk the thick stone wall at Mullion harbour featured in the TV series ’Poldark’, or visit the chocolate factory and visitors centre. The area will appeal to small families or couples all year round. Most of the dead were buried in a mass grave in St Keverne churchyard. Godrevy cove is the closest beach it's about a 15 minute walk.

Coverack in Cornwall is a picturesque old fishing village set on the Lizard peninsula. It is steeped in character and history.

Little Trembraze is set in a woodland glade overlooking a valley. Built in 1840 as a mill workers’ cottage, it has been recently renovated. With log burner and air source heating, it's wonderfully warm and cosy in autumn and winter. In the summer, it's been likened to a tropical paradise. Perfect for walkers and wildlife watchers, it offers a get-away-from-it-all experience. Own entrance and parking, no other properties in sight. Just 1 mile from SW Coast Path, close to St Keverne village.
Wildlife This rural idyll is a haven for wildlife – you're likely to see fox, badger, stoat, rabbit, pheasant and deer from the cottage. You'll also see and hear many different species of birds, including song thrush, woodpecker, tawny and barn owls. From the beaches and coast path, look out for seals, basking sharks and dolphins. (Bring binoculars!) Walking This part of the Lizard peninsula is criss-crossed with public footpaths and bridleways that go on for miles, and it's easy to plan circular routes. There are many places close by where you can join the SW Coast Path. Local beauty spots The stunning Helford River, and Frenchman's Creek, full of yachts, sailing boats, Cornish fishers and cove boats, is just a few miles from Little Trembraze. Bordering this are many beautiful walks through National Trust land, including the historic Tremayne Quay. A few miles in the other direction you'll find the tiny valley of Poltesco, with the remains of the ancient serpentine stone works in the cove. Lizard Point, the UK's most southerly point and home to the rare Cornish chough (red-legged bird), is another few miles on. Year-round appeal Little Trembraze is a wonderful place to stay at any time of the year. There is a wood chip area with a log seat on one side of the cottage, next to the wildflower garden. Plus a slate terrace in front of the cottage, with a huge piece of granite which we found inside(!) the cottage during renovation, now used as a seat. There's also a wooden table and chairs in this area. This enables you to catch the sun at different times of the day. For when the weather is not so great, we've made inside the cottage as cosy as possible. There's a really comfy Parker Knoll sofa, a log burner (we'll give you enough wood for your first fire, but you have to purchase thereafter), and air source heating upstairs and down. The latter is supremely efficient in terms of heat production and eco-friendliness. More on the interiors The bedroom has a kingsize bed, which can be split into two singles. We use 100% pure linen bedding as it is a natural, breathable fabric that washes well. It's 'relaxed' linen, which means it's very soft, and doesn't crease as much as standard linen. I also chose it as I don't iron, which is energy-saving for me and the environment! The bedroom has a small chest of of drawers and free-standing mirror, plus a closet wardrobe. Seagrass rugs and soft lighting. There is also a beautiful painting of a Cornish Pipin Fish, by local artist Tim Wright, on the wall. The bathroom tiles were chosen for their old, faded and slightly chipped look. (They are not really chipped!) I love the softness and historic feel they give to the bathroom. As the bathroom is quite small, we took the bath out and put in a shower. A ceiling beam runs through it, so you must watch your head! The old country dining table is extendable, should you have friends over - or simply want room for a fabulous feast! About your hosts I am a practising Medical Herbalist. I love cultivating healing plants, as well as using them to improve people's health. I love the outdoor life, the countryside and the sea, I love walking my dogs and riding my horse... I am married to John, who also loves the great outdoors, particularly anything to do with boats and fishing. We live on the other side of the woodland in the mill cottage. Out of sight, but available should you need anything. This includes information on places to visit and things to do in this beautiful part of Cornwall – plus advice on herbal remedies and good fishing spots! Interested in herbal medicine? If you are interested in having a herbal/holistic consultation, relating to your general health and wellbeing, or specific health issues, I offer these at a reduced rate to guests at Little Trembraze. Herbal medicine can be especially useful as we get older and start to ‘creak’, mentally and physically! Natural methods of support can be so much gentler, safer, and just as effective – often more so – than pharmaceuticals. For more info about herbal medicine, and myself as a practitioner, please visit my website at www.deannegreenwood.com. I charge £50 for a 2-hour consultation (standard price is £50 for 90 minutes). During this time, we can discuss your health concerns, and I will tell you about herbal remedies you can use at home, on a DIY basis. We will also look at diet and lifestyle – the bedrock of good health! Herbal remedies are available from me at extra cost.
The local village of St Keverne is small, but has two pubs, a paper shop, post office and general store, a butcher's and a small but fantastic restaurant – booking essential! Fat Apples cafe, in nearby Porthallow and close to the beach, is a delightful wholefood cafe with vegan options, and outside seating. Gear Farm, in St Martin, 4 miles away, sells lots of lush local produce including game in season. The beautiful sailing waters of Helford River and Frenchman's Creek are 4 miles away.

A short drive will take you to Gear farm where you can grab a pasty and then carry on to Tremayne quay for another lovely walk.

Two double rooms are available with separate ensuite bathrooms in our house in a quiet rural location. Surrounded by trees and with an acre of private, secure garden, disturbances are minimal. A gravelled drive provides plenty of off road parking. A car is essential but 5 minutes drive away are the beach and harbour of the unspoilt village of Coverack, the historic village of St Keverne and Goonhilly Downs. There is easy access to many parts of the South West Coast path on the Lizard Peninsula
If you want a quiet place but within easy reach of all areas of the Lizard Peninsula, then our house is for you. As we are quite rural, Suzie and I will provide a light breakfast for our guests. Coffee and tea making facilities are in the bedroom. This room is on the ground floor and the ensuite bathroom is a wet room and suitable for a disabled person. An upstairs room appears as a separate listing
At the end of our lane are three farms, including two dairy farms with several hundred head of cattle. In wet weather, the roads near the farm can be quite muddy. The lane is single track with passing places so just be on the look out for tractors and other farm vehicles.
