Kerensa is our small, but perfectly formed little cabin. Sit under the stars in the romantic wood burning hot tub with a glass of prosecco. This cosy cabin sleeps 2, with a small kitchen area, table for two and a toilet and shower room. Kerensa cabin is the first of our very small holiday cabin village, we will have four cabins in total, and there may be an opportunity for friends and family to hire out the entire place in the future!
We are based on a small working farm with our own animals and lots of space and fantastic views to relax and take in. The cabin is cosy and equipped, ideal for a romantic break away for two. *please note we are based on a working farm with some farm machinery, animals and sometimes work on the farm being done.* For an extra touch of luxury, you can even book a pampering massage or facial treatment to leave you rejuvenated and totally relaxed. I am a qualified massage therapist and set up spa parties within the cabin on a part time basis. For a discounted price, you can treat yourself or a loved one to a treatment within the cabin. Please enquire in advance. We can also set up a vintage style Cream tea for two. For just £4 per person you can treat yourself to a homemade scone, Cornish clotted cream and locally homemade jam, and of course, a 'proper' Cornish pot of tea. All of this will be laid out with vintage tea cups and traditional china. Please enquire in advance.

We offer a unique stay in a traditional Romany caravan furnished with some mod cons to make your stay comfortable and enjoyable. The caravan has electric stove, lights, television,DVD player and tea making facilities. There is a seperate bathroom with towels, robes and toiletries supplied. There is also a day cabin overlooking the meadow and woodland with a fine array of wildlife to be seen.Enjoy a romantic escape in a peaceful location but close to all amenities with Cornwall's famed coastline, surfing beaches and coastal footpath less than 2 miles away .Half a mile away is the historic Stannery village of Stratton with 2 pubs and a village store. Genuine Cornish pasties are available at the farm shop ,also about half a mile away ,and of course in Bude itself which ,while still retaining the charm of an oldfashioned seaside town ,has shops, restaurants, banks and pubs.We would highly recommend a visit to the nearby picturesque fishing villages of Boscastle and Clovelly.Or for those who may like to venture a little further afield there are the worldwide famed restaurants of Jamie Oliver's Fifteen at Newquay and Rick Stein's fish restaurant at Padstow. These are both within easy driving distance ,as is the The Eden Project and Heligan Gardens, two further highlights of this beautiful part of the world.

¡Gracias!

The Weekender is a contemporary space,38sqm with stunning views all round step through the door and relax. The decor is stylish, comfortable, a beautiful haven to sit and contemplate the breathtaking surroundings from. Described by a recent guest as "The most beautiful small space they'd ever stayed in" It can be difficult to do anything here other than unwind. But if you can drag yourself away from this little gem it's a great place to explore North Cornwall's diverse delights from.
The Weekender really is a delight, tucked away with views that will take your breath away. My clever husband built this little beauty last year and it evolved into something unique. With our skills and experience in various design projects we have created something we feel is very special. The interior is both cosy but spacious and is filled with lovely finishes that give a high quality and a fabulous feel. It is a very romantic hideaway - ideal for couples. It can be hard to leave to explore the area as it is possible to just sit for hours and and enjoy the space.
Crackington Haven lies in the Parish of St Gennys in North Cornwall. It is a wonderful escape from the hectic side of life. If you don't feel like venturing too far then there are wonderful short and long walks right outside the door. The Weekender sits right on the Southwest coast path - arguably - on one of the most beautiful and dramatic parts of the coast both North and South right here. Crackington has 2 cafes and a good pub - eat and drink overloooking the beautiful beach and giant cliffs. There is a good local shop / PO and a garage just 3 miles from here where you can purchase most things to keep you going! Bude is just 10 miles from The Weekender which is a lovely seaside town with some good shops to wander around and plenty of cafes. Boscastle and Tintagel are approx 6/7 miles south of Crackington offering picturesque harbours, castles and villages. Port Isaac (Port Wenn) is approx 40 mins drive where the popular Doc Martin is filmed - you can wander the tiny streets and recognise your favourite bits! Padstow and Rock are fairly close by with Rick Stein's delicious Fish and chips being the first port of call especially if you've cycled the Camel Trail from Wadebridge or beyond. Further afield are many places to explore The Eden project is about an hours drive and well worth a visit. Closer to home on the edge of Bodmin Moor are Roughtor and Brown Willy- 2 fabulous walks / scrambles with beautiful granite features to admire. Roughtor car park is just a 25 min drive from The Weekender it can be hard to tear yourself away but it's definitely worth the effort.

The Room has an amazing view and you can hear and smell the salty sea.

In a quite beautiful and peaceful spot, close to some of the most spectacular sections of Cornwalls north coast, The Old Cider House is a luxurious conversion providing spacious accommodation for a couple with the added advantage of a lovely private garden.
Located next door to the owner's farmhouse, this delightful conversion has just been completed and offers a truly peaceful place to stay in the North Cornwall area. It is a real treat for couples seeking romantic heaven. A spacious living room is made extra cosy by a traditional log burner sitting in the large inglenook fireplace and the sumptuous leather sofas. Upstairs the beautifully presented bedroom has french windows opening to a charming Juliet balcony from which guests will be treated to bird song from the neighbouring orchard. Outside you can enjoy a morning coffee on the patio or sunbathe in the private south facing garden. The Old Cider House is definitely a place to relax, unwind and revive the spirits. This stunning part of north Cornwall will delight visitors seeking an area of historical interest, beautiful scenery, spectacular walks and a warm Cornish welcome. The famous villages of Boscastle and Port Isaac are both within a short drive and there is nowhere more historic in Cornwall than Tintagel for those fascinated by Arthurian legends. Sandy beaches at Crackington and nearby Widemouth Bay are both great for surfing, but if you fancy a great escape, try the Strangles beach, often quiet even in the height of summer because of a steep path down the cliff. This area is a walker's paradise with some of the most dramatic (and challenging) sections of the south west coastal path from Port Isaac all the way up to Widemouth. Alternatively the wilds of Bodmin Moor are not too distant where you can scale the famous tors of Roughtor or Cornwall's highest point, Brown Willy.AccommodationGround Floor: The beautiful stable door opens into the spacious living room with leather sofas, inglenook fireplace and dining table with lovely wood flooring. A fully fitted kitchen looks out over the garden and the rolling fields beyond.First Floor: Upstairs is the delightful double bedroom with 5' double bed, pastel bed linen and large wardrobes. The gorgeous french windows open to the Juliet balcony and the skylights mean this is a light and airy bedroom in the warmer months, but with the open stairs and a roaring wood-burner, a gorgeous cosy place in winter. A well fitted bathroom adjoins with a bath and over bath shower.Exterior: A small patio is available immediately to the outside of the front door and the garden extends around the house. There is an outside table and a BBQ is available.Facilities & Services Heating is via an air source heat pump and the wood burning stove. The kitchen has a range of modern equipment. Between Bodmin and Bude, Crackington Haven lies a few miles from Boscastle and boasts a spectacular beach with some of the best surf in the county. A popular pub, a couple of charming tea rooms and a lovely woodland and coastal walk are also excellent reasons for a visit. Crackington Haven is on one of the most dramatic stretches of coastline in North Cornwall. The village itself is located in a very narrow valley with steep sides leading to a beach where beautiful sand is exposed at low tide. The beach is popular with surfers and the surrounding coastline is a huge draw for walkers. The cliffs are not only dramatic, but are also geologically fascinating. Immediately north of the beach is Pencarrow Point and a few hundred yards south is Cambeak headland. One mile south of Crackington Haven, High Cliff rises to 735 feet (224 m) with a sheer drop to the rocky foreshore. The surrounding area has beautiful countryside and nearby Bude has a full range of shops, pubs & restaurants. There are a whole range of beaches within a few miles drive along the coast as well. The landscape rises dramatically to the south onto the moors with more superb walking to be had - it really is a lovely place to visit and explore!Boscastle is one of the most picturesque villages in Cornwall, with a tiny natural port and coastal paths passing through superb unspoilt countryside, much of it owned by the National Trust. Browse the shops and enjoy some refreshment at one of many charming cafes in the village. Boscastle, situated on rugged North Coast of Cornwall, has an incredibly picturesque tiny natural port. Once a thriving port at the base of a ravine serving North Cornwall, the village now survives on its tourism industry. Unfortunately, the disastrous floods of 2004 damaged some historic properties, but Boscastle is most definitely up and running again now. The Witchcraft Museum, which re-opened in 2005, houses an extensive collection of related artefacts including a Dutch collection donated to the museum in 2000. There are many gift shops and cafe's in the village, as well as a pottery, with amazing coastal walks and views to each side of the valley. On the north side of the harbour at Penally Point is a natural blow hole, which at low tides with enough swell sends plumes of water high into the air. There is a fabulous 7 mile walk between Boscastle and Crackington Haven which is extremely popular, although it is quite a testing length of coastline. Many sites of interest surround Boscastle with lots to explore. Nearby Tintagel and a ruined castle heralds myths of King Arthur, with Camelford rumoured to be Camelot of old.Widemouth Bay is a varied and interesting beach with a long open bay. At the northerly end of Widemouth there is a large sandy area that becomes more exposed as the tide drops and to either side of this the sand gives way to some fantastic rock formations. The beach is ideal for families, whether you wish to swim, sunbathe, surf or hunt for marine life in the hundreds of rock pools. Lifeguards are present during the season. These are some of the best beaches in Cornwall so don't miss the chance to try your surfing or 'boogie' boarding skils. There are a number of surf schools in the area. For Walkers and Cyclists the area is full of superb routes and Bude lies at the centre of the most dramatic stretch of the South West coastal footpath. There are numerous local villages and landmarks to explore and much of the area ia a nature lovers paradise.Bude is a popular resort for families and surfers, boasting spectacular sandy beaches and some of the best waves in the county. The town, located close to the border with Devon, is filled with shops, restaurants, pubs and even a local theatre. Bude is Cornwall's most northern town and has been a favourite seaside resort since Victorian times. The coastal scenery surrounding the beaches of Bude are quite beautiful. There is a huge amount of bird life for the dedicated twitcher and some wonderful walks along the cliff tops. Along the coast is Sandy Mouth which is ideal for families due to its lovely sand and numerous rock pools. Morwenstow, which is a little further towards Devon is just south of Henna Cliff. The cliff is the highest in Cornwall and has a sheer drop down to the sea. From here you can see across to South Wales. The centre of Bude has a theatre, concerts, dances and fetes, as well as other events throughout the season. There is a new Visitors Centre in the Crescent car park which has an extensive display by the North Cornwall Heritage Coast and Countryside Service including a children's area. There is a weekly Cornish Furry Dance and an annual Carnival Week. Bude is also home to a popular jazz festival which takes place every year in August.

Imagine if you could experience the thrill of camping in the Cornish countryside, without having to sleep in the Great Outdoors. Well, we’re thrilled to present the beautiful Cwtch Cottage. Just as charming as its name, this bright spacious cottage has an interior design that’ll make you want to stay forever. Open plan living means there’s plenty of space to spend time as a family, and welcoming bedrooms make the perfect spaces for when it’s time to retreat and unwind after a busy day. East Thorne has it all, and you’ll find plenty to keep you busy on those days when you resist the temptation of those nearby beaches. You’ll find a games room for the kids to make new friends and show off their skills, and the shared hardens have plenty of space for the whole family to soak up the sun and enjoy the peaceful setting. When evening falls and it’s time to sip on a glass of bubbly (or a hot chocolate for the kids), the communal campfire makes a lovely space to catch up with new friends and enjoy the glow from the flames. For those days out during your stay, it’s all about the beaches. East Thorne’s a place to fall back in love with the good old bucket and spade lifestyle, and we don’t care how old you are – you never stop feeling excited when you sink your feet into the sand. Choose from Summerleaze (everyone’s favourite) just five miles away, Crooklets Beach (next to Summerleaze and perfect for a wander along the shore) or the rugged beauty of Sandymouth, just a four minute drive away.

Rural farmhouse amongst North Cornish fields with National Trust beaches 5 mins away. Less than 3 miles to South West Coast Path and easy drive to several great surf spots. We are situated close to the Devon border, so you can explore both easily. Guests have their own private double en-suite room. Kitchen and living room is shared with us. We are very easy going people so are happy to be around as much or as little as required. Great place to stay for walkers/surfers.
Our house is down a lane off of the country road and there is parking for guests. We are a young working couple so there may be one of us to greet you. The private double room is light and airy, but also has blackout curtains (not that we have any problems with light pollution here!) the room has an en-suite bathroom with shower. The kitchen downstairs is large and homely and has a rayburner. We have all pots and pans etc and will leave out a box with essentials (salt & pepper etc) you can use for cooking, we also have lots of herbs in the garden you are welcome to use. There is a living room you are welcome to hang out in with tv (with Netflix), a vinyl player and electric fire. We have a large garden with a table and bench, bbq and fire pit you are welcome to use (coal and fuel not provided). We have 2 beautiful beaches just a short drive from our house. We have plenty of kit for you to make the most of your stay, such as body board, foamy surfboard and maps of local walks. James is a musician/songwriter so we are open to offering guitar/songwriting lessons to anyone interested.
Bude town is less than 10 minute drive away where you will find everything you need including beaches and shops, but our most local shop is co op which is 5 minutes away. Great local farm shop and cafe just down the road from us and a beautiful cafe at the Sandymouth National Trust beach. Very good pub 5 minutes drive away. For creatives, Welcombe pottery is not far down the road in Devon, and Beau Nidol glass workshop is in Bude. Ideal for walkers, being so close to the South West Coast Path, with historic spots like Hawker’s Hut and Clovelly so close. Great spot for surfers too, under 5 mins to 2 great surf beaches and plenty more less than half and hour away. Lots to see and do as we are in a great location close to the border of Devon and Cornwall.

The property is located 5 miles from Crackington Haven, which is included in the best surfing beaches in England and was recommended by the Marine Conservation Society in its Good Beach Guide. The scenery in the beach area of the surrounding majestic cliffs is almost unrivalled. At high tide, the beach is a mass of quartz-veined pebbles and large boulders but at low tide, it reveals an expanse of sand and many rock pools. Only the road separates the sea from a couple of beach shops, two superb beach cafes and a public house with a restaurant and a fantastic terrace.Tintagel exudes charm and medieval history with Arthurian legend as the birthplace of King Arthur, Tintagel Island is reached via a narrow footpath and there is now a magnificent new footbridge which links the island to the mainland and means the walk to the castle is significantly easier. The cliffs around Tintagel are all Devonian Slate and the sands at the foot of the cliffs turn the sea a bright turquoise in strong sunlight, a truly beautiful sight. Tintagel is a delightful holiday village with many tourist shops and cafés, pubs and restaurants.Fifteen minutes up the coast is Bude, a popular tourist destination for both its surfing and fantastic family beaches in Widemouth Bay. The watchful eye of the RNLI lifeguards allows for some of the best surfing in the world alongside swimming and a whole host of water-based activities. Bude today is a lovely sea-side town, the main shopping streets and inter-connecting alleyways play host to a wide range of locally-owned shops, restaurants and pubs. There are boutiques, shoes, arts & crafts, jewellery, hand-made gifts and souvenirs.A few miles inland is Bodmin Moor, one of Cornwall's designated Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Cornwall at its wildest and rich in ancient history, Bodmin Moor stretches for 30 miles through the heart of the County of Cornwall and offers spectacular walking and horse riding. With easy access to both the A30 and the Atlantic Highway you can quickly travel up and down the South-West to enjoy some of the larger tourist attractions that Devon and Cornwall have to offer. To the west lies the stunning and infamous village of Boscastle, it is a tiny port set in a narrow ravine, the town came into prominence recently as a result of terrible floods in the summer of 2004. In the village, there is a pottery, a museum of witchcraft and several gift shops. A footpath to the left of the quayside will take you to the 'Lookout' which is a wonderful vantage point from which to view the rugged coastline. Boscastle was once a favourite meeting place of the author Thomas Hardy, and is the location for one of his novels 'A Pair of Blue Eyes'. Boat trips can be taken from the harbour as far as Long Island, where during the breeding season you may see razorbills, puffins & guillemots. There is a demanding 7-mile coastal path walk between Boscastle and Crackington Haven. There are several attractions along this stretch of coast including Strangles beach at the bottom of a large landslip with a rock arch the Northern Door. Just south of here is High Cliff which is the highest point on the Cornish coast path. Don't forget to visit Pentargon inlet which has an imposing waterfall that cascades down to the sea below.Trethevy is a delightful hamlet, equidistant from Boscastle and Tintagel and has a history which may well go back to 250 AD when a granite post was inscribed with C DOMI N GALLO ET VOLUS – ‘For the Emperor Caesars our lords Gallus and Volusian' this can now be found outside St Piran a former monastery and now private residence, Trethevy is also home to St Nectans Glen a beautiful valley where the River Trevillet has carved its way through the slate and formed a beautiful 60' waterfall. On Bodmin Moor, Dozmary pond is thought to contain Arthur's Excalibur, and Merlin is thought to be still found walking under Tintagel Island. Camelford is a great centre for touring, walking, fishing, swimming or surfing holidays. The town is steeped in history and has excellent shopping and sporting facilities. Port Isaac is the location of the televisions series Poldark and more recently Doc Martin, as well as being a gorgeous working fishing village. Bodmin Jail built in 1778, notorious for its public executions by hanging, was the first jail to be built housing inmates in individual cells. The Jail closed in 1927 and is now a museum open to the public, which during the First World War housed the Crown Jewels and the Doomsday Book. The famous Camel Trail follows the route of the old railway along traffic-free paths for 18 miles, providing the whole family with a fairly flat cycle through Bodmin and Wadebridge, and out to Padstow where you can sample Rick Stein's famous Fish and Chips. The market town of Launceston is the capital of Cornwall and well worth a visit to see the church of St Mary Magdelene, with granite carvings, unusual among Cornish churches.

My place, a perfect base for exploring North Cornwall just off the A39 is close to Bodmin Moor, the Camel Trail for cycling, the North Devon and Cornwall sections of the South West Coastal Path for hiking and Surfing Beaches like Polzeath and Bude. Easy access to famous locations from television like Port Isaac and Jamaica Inn. There are loads of amazing small farm shops and tea rooms as well as larger destinations like Padstow near by with Rick Steins fish and chips.
The accommodation comprises one double bedroom, a lounge/dinner with freeview television and wifi. A fully equipped newly fitted kitchen with dishwasher. A brand new shower room with underfloor heating. The garden is large and enclosed with patio table and chairs. There is a driveway for off road parking and access to our field for guests with dogs. Also free eggs from our pet chickens (as pictured), and a cream tea on arrival, with enough milk, sugar and teabags to get you started. You'll love my place because of the amazing views up to Rough Tor, the easy access to the whole of North Cornwall and the enclosed garden suitable for dogs. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and furry friends (pets).
The immediate neighbourhood is a small hamlet of around 10 houses and farms, and although the A39 runs through it, the area is very rural and surrounded be fields. Davidstow with its famous creamery is one mile to the east and Camelford with its free parking, shops, pubs and petrol station three miles to the west. Rough Tor is five miles away, the turning is on the left on the way to Camelford, Hilltop Cafe/Farm shop is two miles away, the turning is on the right on the way to Camelford.

No decepcionó.
