Middlebury is just a 15 minute drive from our home. There are a LOT of places to eat there. There are four of my favorites.

I love sending our guests to Fire and Ice. It's full of antiques, even in the bathroom. Every room has a theme. The salad bar is fun. The food is good and servers are always happy and helpful. I do think it's bit pricey.

Branbury State Park is about five miles from our home. It's a nice beach. You can rent paddle boats and canoes.

The hike to the falls is super easy. The trail is wide and not steep at all. It's very popular, sometimes even crowed. Our favorite time to go is fall in the late afternoon. It's just past Branbury State Park.
