Consejos para los viajeros

Desplazamientos

It does occassionally snow a bit in the winter months...

Check the local weather before heading up, and bring a vehicle with all-weather tires, 4WD, snow tires, and chains, just in case. CalTrans may require chains on all-weather tires at times.

It gets cold up here in the mountains during winter months

Be sure to pack a hat, mittens, and waterproof shoes (or snow boots) for you and the kids.

Summers Get Hot

Bring sunscreen, hats, umbrellas for shade, towels, and water bottles. Oh, don’t forget swim suits for our private beach! If you have youngsters or non-swimmers, life vests, floaties and tubes are a must. Remember, there are no lifegaurds on duty so children must always be accompanied by adults.
