This is our local and is a short (but steep) walk there and back. Jane and Steve are the proprietors and they do real ale and food at a reasonable price. Open Thu/Fri/Sat (in 2021)
To get there, walk down the hill, take the first sharp right bend, left under the old bridge and right on the main road.

This is our local and is a short (but steep) walk there and back. Jane and Steve are the proprietors and they do real ale and food at a reasonable price. Open Thu/Fri/Sat (in 2021)

The New Inn in Viney Hill is a reasonable walk (or cycle) away through the forest but you will need a map (we can lend you one).
They do reasonably priced food and have bands from time to time. Leave before dark if walking otherwise you may tumble down the hill on the way home!
