Sightseeing
There is a walk along well maintained fire trails (gravel roads) that takes you to the spectacular Whoota Whoota lookout.
It's 5ks from the front gate of Sutherland Downs and has a fair bit of uphill (well worth it, but you may get short of breath in parts).
If you wish to make it slightly shorter you can park just near the start of the Freshwater Fire Trail and go from there making it about 7ks return.
