MUST go to Table Mountain. It is worth it.
Hiking, Cable Car, iconic. Walk up the mountain or take the Cable Car. Restaurant at the top of the mountain. Wonderful views and fresh air in the middle of the City. You can happily walk to the mountain from our place or take the bus or drive there. Most of our guests walk there. Make sure you carry warm clothes as well: The temperature can drop 10 degrees in a couple of minutes.

If you like modern art, I highly recommend the Zeitz Mocaa Museum. It is mind-blowing.
District Six Museum is very interesting from the historical point of view. Use critical thinking when listening to the guides as they usually want to push other political agendas. Otherwise they are excellent.
A look at the human stories of the race based eviction. The museum is intimate and wonderful. It will give you an idea of the emotional cost of Apartheid.
