Located on the corner of 6th Ave and G St. is one of Kaladi Brithers handful of locations around Anchorage. The Kaladi Brothers cafe in Downtown is a great spot to grab a pick-me-up while you’re out and about. Kaladi Brothers is a local coffee roaster, importing quality coffee beans from around the world, and creating delicious roasts and blends. Kaladi Bros coffee is also available from a stand at the New Sagaya City Market, just across the street from the Wildflower, and ground coffee be found on New Sagaya’s shelves.

The Snow City Cafe is one of the most popular breakfast/brunch spots in Anchorage, and it’s an easy 15min walk from the Wildflower Inn. We strongly recommend booking a reservation ahead of time, but it’s worth it! Snow City is an awesome, quirky eatery with great atmosphere, great food, and fantastic Kaladi Brothers coffee. This place is great no matter what you’re craving. The iconic Heart Attack on a Plate breakfast to soak up last nights festivities, or their terrific gluten free omelets and sandwiches for those who are trying to start those health minded habits while on vacation.

We’ve always loved Humpy’s Alehouse, and it’s an easy 15-16min walk, less than a mile from the Wildflower In. It’s perfect for a hearty breakfast to help you start off your day of sightseeing or adventure. The pub-style restaurant is full of Alaskana, and is a great place to for a relaxing meal around a mix of locals and other visitors. You can get some great food and great local brews.

The Crow’s Nest is a fantastic, fine dining experience with gorgeous vistas. In the top of the Hotel Captain Cook in downtown Anchorage, just half a mile walk up the road, you can have a gourmet dining experience looking out to the Chugach Mountains surrounding Anchorage, or the scenic Cook Inlet. This is a popular spot, so book reservations ahead of time. It’s popular for dinner, or even just a scenic dessert and a night cap to top of an exciting day.

Williwa Social has a fun, vibrant atmosphere. It’s great for a bite and a brew in the afternoon, or a fun evening out and about in Downtown. The bar is really good, with some great cocktails as well as locally brewed beers. There is regular nights with live music and a fun crowd.
