Warren, PA is a neighboring town where there are a lot of great things to do and see such as local restaurants and breweries as well a variety of outdoor activities. If you like thrifting or garage sales, Warren is your place with weekly yard sales, thrift stores and lots of antique shops. Warren hosts several places to rent kayaks and canoes to explore the the area. There are also walking, hiking and biking trails in the surrounding National forest as well as the city area. The Allegheny River and Conewango Creek are beautiful rivers to float that meet at the center of town. Many of the surrounding streams and creeks make for great fishing. Along the Kinzua Dam area there is Rimrock and Jake’s Rocks Overlooks. It’s a great drive with breathtaking views where you can climb between giant rocks and walk the maintained trails. Warren also offers free music in the park weekend evenings. You can have a bite or brew outside while you listen. Some of our favorite places to eat are Wendy’s Cafe in North Warren, The Plaza, Snuffys, Bent Run, Wicked of Warren and so many others. We also have a local Moose Lodge, American Legion and an Eagles Club for those of you that are members. Right up the road from the cabin are two beautiful golf courses, Cable Hollow and Blueberry. We are blessed to live in such a beautiful area. Any day on the Allegheny River or spent exploring Jake’s Rocks is the best day.
