The food is amazing! Try the Sunday brunch! The menu changes with what's available locally, and the chef/owner has competed in the state cooking competition- he's amazing! I usually try whatever is on special, but the pork chops are a go to as well!

As long as we're talking ethnic food, let me tell you about some of the best sushi I've ever had- right here in Boone! You might be as surprised as I was, but my fish monger friend in Boston told me that most fish is flash frozen on the boat now- it's all about attention to detail in keeping it that way. Interesting! Back to Cobo- one of the best fried calamari plates ever! Also, some special rolls like the Going Green for veggie lovers, the Mile High, and the Appalachian. Try them all! My very favorite thing is the Chirashi bowl. It's a full meal with sashimi twirled into flowers, rice, pickles, sliced apples and lemons, pickled seafood salad, seaweed salad, avocado... mmmmmm.....

Excellent Pho! Under $10 for good sized bowl- you choose the ingredients. Don't know jicama? Make sure you include it- it's great! I like to mix the spicy lemon grass and hearty beef broth together! They have bahn mi, but I can't give up the pho to try it!
