The Palm Tree is an 'East End' institution. The building stands alone in a park alongside the canal as all of its neighbouring houses were bombed in the Blitz... or so legend has it. Come here to get the true Cockney experience at the weekend.

Parks & Nature
The green lung of East London - this park was gifted to the people by Queen Victoria and has been loved and cherished ever since. On one side: gardens, lakes and playgrounds; on the other: large playing fields and tree-lined paths. A great place for a jog or tea and cake in one of the cafes. Or, indeed, a pint in one of the many excellent pubs that skirt the park.

Shopping
East London market - sells mostly ladies clothing, great place to pick up a bargain on high-street labels. Come here to experience Eastender market trader spirit. Nice cafes and boutiques particularly to the west of St Stephen's Road. (Unfortunately, the Air BnB has placed this much further west than it should be on the map - the market itself is between St Stephen's Road and Parnell Road)
