The park's beauty is endless. To try to explain the unfathomable amount of awe inspiring sights would only minimize your expectations. Let your imagination give you a day full of wild eyed wonder. With that in mind know that Mt. Rainier is a worldwide attraction. Leave early for your visit in the summer as the Park can be overcome with visitors from June to September.

Mt. Rainier and Logging Museum brings the vibrant logging industry to life. Just minutes to Mt. Rainier, in Elbe, you can catch a steam train ride that will roll you through the misty forests on a 14 mile journey to Mineral. When you arrive you will have time to enjoy the Museum and view the worlds largest collection of steam locomotives. Whether you choose a steam excursion or one of the many special event trains (Washington wine express, Polar Express just to name a few) you will be taking the very same tracks used by pioneers, loggers, and settlers from over a century ago! Crystal Mountain is somewhat of a second home to us and has something for everyone. In the winter you can experience some of Washington's best snow skiing/boarding the state has to offer. It is our states largest ski resort and has runs for every ability and style. The Gondola takes you to one of the most incredible views anywhere featuring Mt. Rainier, Mt. St. Helens, Mt Adams, Mt. Baker, and the Olympics on a good day. The state's highest restaurant is next to the Gondola for a great breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner during hours of operation. The summer provides hiking, horseback riding, disc golf and a handful of events while the winter and spring is full of snow related activities. A must do for someone visiting from outside the area!
