Our larger local town. Naas country market takes place each Friday in the town hall. Naas Farmers Market takes place every Saturday. Naas is a large town with lots to do, including horseracing. The Moat Theatre has an online calendar. For food we love Les Olives, an intimate french restaurant with amazing cuisine for lunch. Rustic serves great pizza and cocktails. Bouchon has recently changed owners but its menu is worth consideration. Kavenaghs and Fletchers are great pubs. Tani (sushi and noodle place) is one of our favorite haunts, it also does great take out sushi.

Mullacreelin woods are beautiful, especially in May when the bluebells are out. From the top of the Motte there are beautiful views of the surrounding countryside and castle. Kilkea castle is a nice place to visit stop for a refreshment. Its adjoining golf club serves food. There's also a golf course.

We love to park at Fisherstown and walk (7km) to Vickerstown and back. Its a beautiful, peaceful canal walk. At this stage we always deserve a stop off at Fishermans thatched pub. It is FAB. Theres a gorgeous beer garden too. We LOVE this place and the pub is on facebook (for opening hours etc)

Stunning house, gardens and walk. There is a coffee shop too. We have heard great things about an Italian restaurant in Emo so perhaps check this out.

There are gorgeous woods in Donard (lot of deer and hazelnuts time of year permitting) and The Ballymore Inn is the perfect place to relax afterwards.
