This is a secret beach- arrive to find a rather dull looking craggy rock cove, but follow the path to the right of the cove through the rocks and you’ll find a beautiful enclosed bay with an enormous waist deep rock pool, and a surf break further along. The whiting pizza is particularly good, but their specialty cheese platters are also excellent. Book ahead if you’re going on a Saturday or Sunday as it’s very popular. It’s approximately a 20 minute drive from Island Beach.
