Approximately 2.5hr drive from Thredbo. A nice full day trip out, through villages of Berridale, Adaminaby, Kiandra (an old gold mining town, with lots of history. A round trip can be made back to Thredbo via Khancoban on the Murray River. Beautiful through summer, check road conditions in winter.

Summertime an alternative way to access the mainrange for sightseeing. With some nice short walks or long treks. Bike riding is allowed from Charlottes Pass to the base of Mt. Kosciousko and just a short hike up. The road to Charlottes Pass is closed during Winter.
