1050 Thomas Jefferson PkwyIf you love outdoors, hiking, walking, riding a mountain bike, bird watching and more, this is the place for you! Its 22 miles winds its way around the city. You'll have 5 bars on your cell and can exit the trail in many places and be somewhere in Charlottesville. Best to bring your GPS or let me or my husband take you around. Sometimes finding the trailhead can be a challenge but even if you just do a 20 minute "out and back", you'll be sure and LOVE IT!

Food scene
This is a must-see destination on your trip to Charlottesville. Originally this Main Street was like any Main Street USA. Lot's of shops, restaurants and more. In 1976 it was converted into a pedestrian-only outside mall. It is hugely popular with tourists and locals alike. Lots of great restaurants, our favorites being Citizen Burger, Now and Zen (Japanese), and The Alley Light. For desert you've got to go to Splendora's Gelato Cafe!

Neighborhoods
Belmont is a popular Charlottesville, VA neighborhood, located right off the downtown pedestrian mall, and steeped in culture, history, beauty, and modern convenience. It's a very quaint part of town. We like the food and vibe there. Our favorite restaurant is "Tavola". It's great italian cuisine!
