Epsom is a great centre from which to take some long circular walks and as it is a hobby of mine I can offer suggestions and maps.
There are also over 20 golf courses in a 12 mile radius which we can help with.
London is a 30/40 minute train ride away.
you can walk up the hill from Capitol Square to get great views of London, go to the Derby Arms for a good meal and continue over the downs to see where the horses train

If you like golf this is the place for your with over 10 courses a short distance away. The famous Walton Heath course is about a 15 minute drive away but they are all accessible by Uber
