Powell Brewery has some of the best craft beer in Vancouver, Bristish Columbia. Home to award winning ales which are recognized worlwide. Powell Brewery is a small, independent microbrewery owned and operated by husband & wife team, David (Brewer) and Nicole (Operations). The brewery opened December 2012 on a nano scale with a focus on creating high quality, handcrafted beers for locals to enjoy. The brewery quickly gained a name for itself within the community and by May of 2013, they were humbled when receiving the prestigious award, “Beer of the Year”, from the Canadian Brewing Awards for their Old Jalopy Pale Ale. With the receipt of this award, the brewery gained national attention and the small-batch beers they were brewing could not nearly meet the demand, and all beers sold out fast. Needless to say, their original goal of staying small and growing slowly quickly changed.

Cozy eatery serving large, refined Italian dishes meant for sharing, with gluten-free choices. Local favourite. The service is family-style: all dishes are meant for sharing and food arrives to the middle of the table, as it is ready. The antipasti usually arrive first, with pasta dishes close behind. We also have an amazing house made gluten free options available daily. All menu items are available for dine-in or take-out.

Watch the trains go by in a Heritage building with 50 taps of local & imported craft beers, plus a menu of locally sourced food. Since summer 2006, owners Raya Audet & Nigel Springthorpe have been quietly turning the Alibi Room into the place for local craft beer on tap. We have become a true Free House, pouring guest beers from the lower mainland, across the province and beyond. Head chef Greg Armstrong has added an understated sophistication to our very accessible menu. The menu reflects a strong desire to provide familiar, comforting dishes with an emphasis on quality ingredients. All of our meat, fish & poultry are sourced locally, ocean friendly, naturally raised and free run.
