Follow signs to golf course and car park is a few hundred metres past the 9 hole golf course entrance.
There are no ablutions here.
The entrance to Sandbar beach (mouth of the lagoon) to get a permit for driving on the beach, you can get it from the shop at the campsite.

Seal Rocks Beach is an Old favourite for the surfers with families. Loads of beach and fun for the kids and loads of good surf when it's working !.

Sugarloaf Point Lighthouse has a fantastic beach and even more amazing view from the lighthouse.
To access the beach you can either take the walk down, be prepared to walk and take some water and sunscreen. OR you can be brave enough to drive down with a permit onto the beach. Make sure you have a serious 4x4 and deflate your tires. Easy to get stuck down there in the soft sand.

Foster is the nearest Town to Smiths Lake for local shopping and some great beaches.
The beach pool is a great place for the dawn swimmers who want to do laps in a pool.
Cape Hawke Lookout provides an amazing view of the lakes and sea.

Great little beach, not that little, but in comparison to some of the beaches in the area anyway. This is a nice beach for kids as the water is often flat and calmer here than the other beaches. That means small waves for the kids if they're little, but if they're teens and aspiring surfers than look around for bigger surf next door at Blueys Beach

Elizabeth Beach
Great little beach, not that little, but in comparison to some of the beaches in the area anyway. This is a nice beach for kids as the water is often flat and calmer here than the other beaches. That means small waves for the kids if they're little, but if they're teens and aspiring surfers than look around for bigger surf next door at Blueys Beach

Smiths Lake is a fantastic lake on the each of Sandbar Beach. Has great options from fishing, kayak, sailing, SUP's etc and brilliant clear shallow water for small kids and adults alike to enjoy the peace of nature.

Smiths Lake is a fantastic lake on the each of Sandbar Beach. Has great options from fishing, kayak, sailing, SUP's etc and brilliant clear shallow water for small kids and adults alike to enjoy the peace of nature.
If you fancy a break from sea, lake and sun, a drive around the lovely Wallingat National Park offers some beautiful views and forest. We usually enter the park from the Tarbuck Bay entrance. An SUV would be preferable especially if there has been or is raining. Whoota Whoota lookout offers a great view of the surrounding area and there is a picnic table up there. It can be accessible by car but a SUV would be preferable.
