If you have the chance to eat in only one place in Fernie, this is it. A delicious menu, fantastic staff and great indoor and outdoor seating options. Nevados don't do reservations so call when they open and discuss waiting times, but we can say it's worth the wait!

Outdoor Adventures
The perfect spot to start any day adventure with dozens of great mountain hikes starting from this central spot. We are huge fans of the Spineback climb, combining a bit of usual and more advanced climbing to end in a spectacular view. All hikes out of this lodge are well worth the effort, and we love to finish the afternoon with a picnic by the beautiful lake which is the most idyllic spot for a leisurely kayak!

Away from the ski hill Castle Mountain provides some of our favourite snowshoe spots. Head up Castle Mountain toward Castle Rocks and start at Coal Creek Road Bridge. A more relaxed snowshoe with sunning views throughout, perfect for any snowshoeing ability.
