People love this restaurant, and it's close. I personally think it's fine, but I've worked hard to develop cheap tastes, and so it's fancier than I usually eat.

Good pizza, nearby. I think the personal size pizzas are the best; the ingredient ratios are better than the full size pies. I also really like Frank's Pizza on Brambleton. I think neither deliver though.

Iconic Roanoke landmark with nice view. Several nice hiking, running, and mountain biking trails, and good roads for road biking (I like to go up Prospect Rd. SE, which is closed to cars, but down J P Fishburn Parkway). Also good biking access to the Blue Ridge Parkway and Roanoke Mountain (closed, but you can still bike / hike / run up there).
