Relatively new to town but the 18hundred has quickly become a place we like to go. 7 minute drive from the house, food is solid and if you’re feeling a little frisky they have a full bar with their own creative cocktails as well.

1800 Chester Ave24th st Cafe is truly a Bakersfield staple! Breakfast is delicious and exactly what you want in a little diner. Only knock on it would be get there early because wait times should be expected.

Need a very Instagram-able coffee? This is your cute and trendy go-to. Great coffee with a very welcoming and quiet patio in the back to sit back, relax, and enjoy your coffee. Highly recommend Cafe Smitten.

Moo Creamery kinda does it all but does so without losing any quality. Breakfast… awesome, lunch… awesome, so many good choices! Cocktails and beer… great and then they have ice cream! Really is all you could ask for.
Only note is that it’s kinda tucked back in between some business buildings but once you’ve parked, you’re all set to have a great meal.

Zingo’s might as well be our next door neighbor, incredibly close to your suite and everything you want in an old school cafe. Also just so happens to be right across the Buck Owen’s Crystal Palace if you have any interest in Country Music and the Bakersfield Sound.
