You can drive up the mountain toll road, and take an elevator to the top for windy, great views of the Adirondack high peaks. Or you can walk from the parking area to the peak. You can also visit the Whiteface Mountain Ski area to take a chairlift or gondola ride in the summer. Check with the LP Chamber or ORDA (Olympic Region Development Authority) for hours and fees.
