Parks & Nature
Bower Ponds are encompassed with miles of paved walking paths. A very nice scenic place close to the Red Deer River to walk and enjoy the day. In the summer there are paddle boats and canoes that can be rented from the Bower Ponds Pavilion. There is also a children's playground that is enjoyed by all.
The City of Red Deer has done a great job of providing park benches and observation points along the trail system.

This is a very nice quiet City of Red Deer Park located in the river valley.
We like to go for a walk on the trails and visit the geese in the ponds. There is a wooden boardwalk down by the pond that gets you right over the water for better views of the wildlife.
