La Paradeta Born opened in August of 2001, and is located at the heart of the Sant Pere, Santa Caterina y la Ribera neighbourhood, right by Barcelona’s Parque de la Ciudadela and the former Born market, which is nowadays the Centre Cultural del Born.
It was the second establishment of the group to open, and given its location it is the perfect seafood restaurant to visit with family, friends, or whoever you please, and enjoy high quality authentic seafood for a very affordable price.

The café opened on June 12, 1897 in the famous Casa Martí, and served as a hostel, bar and cabaret until it eventually became a central meeting point for Barcelona’s most prominent modernist figures, such as Pablo Picasso and Ramon Casas i Carbó. The bar closed due to financial difficulties in June 1903, but was reopened and eventually restored to its original condition in 1989.
