We had a wonderful visit to Galveston thanks in large part to this wonderful house. It was in a nice, quiet location only a few minutes walk from the beach. The house was very clean and well-stocked - plenty of towels, plenty of cookware and dishes, and a nice assortment of beach items/toys for us and our kids. Definitely recommend to others for the reasons above!

We had the best stay ever! It was our family’s first trip to the beach and our host provided things we didn’t even know we would need for beach trip! We made so many memories and hope to return to this same spot!

You won’t be let down!!!!!!! The price is right, and the space is great! I’ve stayed at a lot of places in Galveston and this is by far my favorite! We will be back the next time we need a weekend getaway. The owner was kind enough greet my mother-in-law when she arrived, helped with her bags, and shared the history of the house. My daughter enjoyed the “yummy” cookies left for us to enjoy. Thank you so much.

Walk to the beach was a breeze and the beach access was perfect. we loved waking up and walking on the balcony for breakfast. Older building but we'll maintained.

This was really an accommodating stay , the neighborhood is really nice and the house is really clean and spacious. Every restaurant known to man is within a few miles There is an African style zoo just over an hour away with lions, tigers, giraffe and many other animals ZOOSIANA. Awesome movie theater with lounge recliners and a bowling alley not too far neither. Walmart is only a mile away too. It’s only an hour away from the gulf also, (holly beach) you have to ride a car ferry to that particular beach (which was really cool it only cost 1 dollar. No extraordinary American landmarks but for a simple good time it’s great. Also 1 hr away is the regatta , this place is amazing food , drinks and you can eat on an enormous patio I would highly recommend Carlos and his place

The space is absolutely perfect and the location is ideal for walking to the sea wall, moody gardens, surrounding businesses and restaurants Everything was perfectly clean and had everything we needed. It’s a very comfortable place for 2. I’d 100% recommend staying here.

Our family had a great time staying here and would recommend it to anyone. Everything was spotless and there were plenty of amenities. We did not run out of anything for our stay. It was so much fun being able to spend time on both the upper deck and the doc. It was a fantastic stay and would look for this home to stay in again, as we have family in Galveston and travel often to the island.

We had a fantastic stay at The Purple Palm in Galveston! The house was wonderfully decorated with a cozy, welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully arranged. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful, making the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

We had a wonderful stay at the SurfSide home. The yard area was gated and perfect for our puppy. The house was very close to the beach. We walked to the beach several times a day and used the outdoor shower often. The host was responsive to all questions. They provided beach toys and chairs which was helpful since we don’t live near any beaches. I was able to start my day with coffee and beach views. The workspace allowed me to work, interact with family and walk to the beach during my breaks. They provided laundry detergent to wash our beach towels and swimwear. Great price for our family to spend 7days.
