Rosie's Studio

Rosie's Studio is a very special place decorated with original paintings by the late Salt Spring Island artist - Rosemaria Behncke. This large, unique cottage/studio is situated on a 25 acre farm in the peaceful south end of beautiful Saltspring Island, close to parks, beaches, Fulford Shops and the Ferry Terminal. Relax in this quiet pastoral setting and enjoy the sweep of the ocean out to volcanic Mount Baker. We welcome families with children and pets. Update: Emily the duck has passed.

Salt Spring Gite

Our "gite" is a self-contained 2 bedroom cottage in the most beautiful part of Salt Spring, the south eastern tip, near Ruckle Park. From our cottage, you can walk to this historic working farm and park, explore its forested trails, and then head to the many beach areas a short distance away. Visit farm stands and take the Studio Tour. Take a dip in one of many lakes. Climb Maxwell Mountain or stroll through the Saturday Market and other unique shops. Salt Spring is a true one of a kind.

Adults only, comfy spacious cottage on a private setting! Close driving distance to parks, hiking, art and culture, great views, restaurants & the beaches. A light breakfast of organic granola and fruit in the fridge is offered, as well as teas, coffees, etc. The seaside farm is down the driveway where horses, sheep, chickens, cats, and a dog live. Feel free to wander. Come have a taste of West Ganges with amazing sunsets, Mt. Erskine hiking, Earth Candy market and Wild Cider, all nearby.

Welcome to Sunrise Isles B&B Suite 1. Enjoy amazing water views over the Gulf Islands from your luxurious bed. Relax in your private outdoor hot tub and soak in the view after a day of exploring. From the comfort of your bed stream Netflix on the 43" Smart TV. In the morning a gourmet breakfast is brought to your door, complemented with barista espresso drinks. You’ll love our place because of the great SSI neighbourhood, the comfy bed, the cosiness, proximity to the ocean, lovely gardens and flowers, friendly hosts and a nice continental breakie and snacks. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and furry friends (pets). We have a friendly dog and cat on the property.

Breakfast makings are provided - fresh organic wood-fired naturally-leavened sourdough bread from Francis Bread, also butter, jam, eggs, milk, coffee and tea.

The cottage is approximately 2km from Beaver Pt Hall, 5km from Ruckle Provincial Park, 10 minutes to Fulford Harbour, and 20 minutes to Ganges. We are within walking distance to several beach accesses, Canada Conservancy forest, and a beautiful First Nations Reserve. The beaches are launch points for nearby Russell and Portland Islands in the Gulf Island National Marine Parks.
