Peg is wonderful. She’s professional while also being kind, generous, and friendly 🙂 I’ve now stayed at both her “Owl House” and the “Casa Picoflor.” They’re similarly charming and well maintained. I’d recommend to everyone!* * - With just 2 exceptions: 1) those who wish to do lots of cooking with a lot of food prep, since counter space next to stove is limited, and 2) those who have difficulty driving on narrow roads, as there’s a ~1/2-mile stretch that won’t fit 2 cars side by side

Such a lovely, sunny place in a wonderful location! The rooms are spacious and furnished so nicely. The King bed was very comfortable and perfect for my 6’7” husband. The balconies have great views. It was very easy to get there and check in/check out procedures were easy to follow. Being able to park at the back of the building was a nice perk. All in all, I would highly recommend this place. We will be back! Thanks for a great getaway!

Rainee and Steven are wonderful hosts. They helped us with our luggage and responded promptly to our messages. The home is lovely and fully equipped with everything we needed. We had an unforgettable stay!

It was great experience. The room was extremely clean and spacious, and the host, Roman, was truly deserving of the title 'superhost' with his kindness and quick response.

This is a great place to stay in SF that’s not completely downtown and in a unique neighborhood. It’s a close drive to great small businesses, restaurants, and the like. Mark was super friendly and easy going. He even let me use his washer-dryer so now I don’t need to do laundry when I get back! The bed and desk were a perfect place to work during the week, and there’s even a great outside area. The space is quiet and felt like my own. I plan on staying here the next time I’m in SF.

Great location on Santana Row with cafes and restaurants within a short walk. We only used the kitchen for breakfast. It was suitable for other meals, too. The two BRs and two BAs were useful. Note that the 3rd bed is upstairs next to the master. We enjoyed relaxing on the couch and watching TV.

This was the a great place to stay for a short work trip. The unit is a first floor private studio apartment with its own private bathroom and kitchen in a small apartment building. There is controlled access to the overall building as well as a key to the room. It is convenient walking distance from everything on Castro as well as the Caltrain station. As others mention, the main drawback was the noise, but I actually found it easier to sleep that way. The kitchen is stocked with some basic food items and breakfast like bagels, yogurt, fruit, coffee pods. It is an older building and unit that I thought had character. Very clean and comfortable.

Convenient and comfortable stay. Hanna was quite responsive to requests. Felt like she went over and beyond to accommodate our needs.

The spot is bigger and better appointed than the photos show. The location is great and parking was easy. Would definitely stay again.

We had a fantastic stay at Alex's place! The neighborhood was quiet yet very conveniently located for getting public transit. The apartment was extremely clean and homey, and we really appreciated having the cooktop available for when we wanted to avoid eating out. And the view! Wonderful to start the day looking at the ocean, and to see the sunset on a few nights we were back by that time. Check in with the keypad was also super easy. Overall, would definitely recommend :)

Kylee's place was really perfect !. It was one of the best AirBNB's we've stayed in and we've been in many ! It was quiet, bright and cozy. We absolutely loved the setting . The furnishings were great and the kitchen had everything we needed. The location was wonderful.. very central to everything Palo Alto has to offer.. yet still private and afforadbale. Kylee was a great host. she was persoanble and responsive. We'd love to stay here again.

As everyone else has said, then place is very clean, exactly as described, Sheilah is very responsive and the location is very safe. If the location in Alameda works for you, this place will fit the bill. Highly recommended.

Had a great time staying here! It's a nice apartment, fairly spacious and well decorated (and many many books). The location was awesome and the highlight. You get a great view of the bay + SF from the hills. It's also close to both nice hikes and the university.

Interior was spacious with a good heating system that us old travelers appreciate. Two level unit made it easy when one of the guests my want late morning sleep-in. The Mid Eastern carpets were a pleasant touch of home. Overall a comfortable place away from home.

This cute little ground-floor apartment is right around the corner from downtown Alameda, making it easy to walk to shops and restaurants or just around the neighborhood admiring the fascinating architecture. The apartment is clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with toiletries and office supplies in case you forget something. Though some noise is inevitable from the main house above, the occupants took care to minimize it, and it was not an issue for us. Bathtub notes: There is plentiful hot water and a great showerhead. The tub, however, is straight-backed and not comfortable for lounging.

My Son an I did a 5 day stay. The place was very centrally located on the pacific coast. The place was very cozy, clean and comfortable with outstanding ocean views from everywhere in the cabin. Good parking for two vehicles. Weather was so so, but did not hindered us a bit. We hiked at Muir Woods, the overlook and the beach all within 5 minutes away. We were able to go to San Francisco multiple times 35 minutes to do half day lunches or dinners and Sausalito 20 minutes. Yeshi was very responsive when we communicated, but really needed little assistance. The home is older and very charming. It reminded me of my own house growing up. Would definitely stay here again.

Dylan & Alex’s place was a perfect place to stay while visiting SF! It felt very central and easy to get to a lot of places; and its proximity to Golden Gate Park was an added bonus! The backyard area was beautiful and felt like an escape from the city!

The smart design, the functionality, the view, the deck and the hot tub made this a phenomenally relaxing short vacation for us. We would stay with Jan and Marcia again in a heartbeat.

Our stay at 1716 Lofts (hosted by Advanstay) was terrific, and it solved a particular need of ours (an interim stay between homes) very well. The location rocks: You can easily walk to Melo’s, CorePower Yoga, 5 Tacos & Beers, Barnes & Noble – all the downtown Walnut Creek highlights, and without having to find parking, which can be tricky. Speaking of parking, the property’s assigned garage space was secure and convenient. The TV and sofa-sectional viewing area were well-thought-out and comfortable. The appliances were of higher quality than you usually find in short-term rentals – excellent dishwasher, fridge, and microwave, as well as a generously sized washer and dryer. The walk-in shower stood out in the bathroom – you don’t often find that in short-term rentals, either. All in all, we give this property very high marks!

This has to be the best value possible if you are going to the Moscone Center. It was a great place to stay.

My friends and I absolutely loved staying at this home. It’s hard to capture the magic of this place in photos — it’s spacious and cozy at the same time, full of character but not cluttered. It was the perfect gathering spot for dinners and game nights. The backyard is peaceful and beautiful, and we took full advantage of the hot tub under the stars each night. The street itself is also tucked away yet convenient to lots of great spots. Parking was fairly easy. I look forward to my next chance to go back!

This is our second time staying here. The location is great. Easy street parking and a short drive to Berkeley campus to visit our son. Lots of restaurant choices in the area and the kitchen is equipped so we could cook for him as well.
