Our 1940's small hand-built cabin is located one house in from the end of a dirt road, and the builder's family still calls it home. Looking for a healthy dose of tranquility and adventure at your doorstep? Over 100 steps from the road below, this 'treehouse' is perched above it all and horizontally oriented on a steep lot between two creeks. The all glass façade creates dramatic views of the redwoods, Mt. Tam and across downtown Mill Valley to Blithedale Ridge. Anchored to granite the house sits on handmade stone walls from rock harvested on the property during construction in the 1960s. Truly a one of a kind stay.

Gather around the cozy brick fireplace for evening chats in the stately wood paneled great room. Built in 1914, the Edwardian era building maintains its classic architecture while modern renovations, including sleek cabinetry, quartz counters, a spacious glass enclosed shower and a calm colour palette of cool grays, bring the period space up to date. The spacious guest suite is over 1300 square feet in size. With windows on 4 sides of the building, light pours into the space.

A perfect getaway to hike, surf, walk, bike, swim, paddle board, dine, sleep, read, + enjoy! THREE RULES - 6 PEOPLE, NO PETS. NO PARTIES. Otherwise, all welcome!
