Come relax in our rustic adobe casita with sweeping views of the Sangre de Cristo and Jemez mountains from the wrap-around portal. The semi-private casita sits on a hill overlooking our home, next to a weekday office building. Please note: accessing the casita requires hiking up a rugged path with steep steps and no rails—not suitable for those with mobility concerns. A northern New Mexico cabin and woodland retreat nestled on 10 acres in the santa fe national forest. 🌲♨️💤 The cabin is a perfect option for those who want access to Santa Fe and surrounding areas while also feeling refreshed from a memorable retreat in nature. The space has a fully equipped kitchen and has plenty of games, cards, books, etc. available to guests. The property is located on a county maintained road but 4wd is recommended in the event of big rains and snows.

Enjoy a romantic get away to the mountains. A modern cabin centrally located near all the Jemez has to offer. Within miles of hiking trails, fishing, hot springs, and the Valles Caldera. Peaceful outdoor seating with fire pit (bring firewood). Jetted spa bath tub. Well equipped kitchen and propane grill. We are happily pet friendly but do charge a small cleaning fee for your furry friends. Please make sure to add them to your itinerary so we can prepare their amenities!

Chameleon, Rustic Cabin, Unit 1 with private deck

Chameleon: 2 room cabin, NO running water and no toilet facilities in the casita, sleeps 4, possibly 5, two (2) double beds in the bedroom, and a daybed for an extra person (for an added fee of $20.) Wood stove, hot plate & electric appliances for cooking. Open deck on the Pecos River! with an outdoor fireplace. Community bathhouse with commodes and showers, 300 feet from Chameleon. Some road noise can be heard, especially during peak travel times.
