This is the best airbnb I’ve ever had the pleasure of staying in, every one of us was indeed impressed with how lovely the apartment was, it’s very spacious and perfect for 4+ people, it’s the ideal location for exploring Madeira by car. As it’s in the central location of the island. The host was amazing left us a welcome basket with loads of different local snacks, they was very welcoming and attended to our needs and provided lots of information about Madeira and activities that we can do Overall for the price and quality of what you’re getting it’s out of this world 🌍 get yourself booked in 👍🏻

We had a great stay and wish we could have stayed longer. Check in was easy and the shop and bar at the bottom of the hill are easily walkable and have everything you need. We particularly enjoyed sitting on the sunny porch in the mornings watching the birds, including a kestrel and a buzzard. The hot tub is a touch of luxury and we enjoyed meeting the goat next door. The property is private and peaceful but within a short driving distance of the town and many walking trails. Thank you so much for a lovely stay, Jo + Matt.

Top accomodatie! Wij voelden ons er erg thuis! Fijne bedden, alles aanwezig en een schitterend uitzicht! De oprit was wel een beetje spannend.... zo steil.

Such a nice Airbnb with great rooftop views! The space was very clean and had everything we needed! Location was great as it was walkable to many different restaurants and the downtown area. Airbnb came with a list of many recommendations of places to eat and things to do which was also helpful! We would definitely recommend staying here :)

We really enjoyed our stay at Maria's place. It was very clean and comfortable. It has lovely views of the ocean and great location to discover the whole island. There was also everything we needed including the basics for cooking like oil, vinegar, salt and herbs. The only small downside was that the town was a little too far to walk but there are a couple of restaurants that can be walked to. Maria was great at giving us recommendations and helping out when we had issues with our flights.

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le logement ! (famille de 6 personnes) Celui-ci est bien situé, une belle vue, endroit très paisible et privé. Il est très bien équipé, piscine chauffée (pour 30€/J), barbecue disponible, très spacieux et propre. Ce qui en fait un très bon rapport qualité-prix. On recommande !

So ein schönes Haus auf dem Berg. Man hat die Meerblick. Rui sehr hilfsbereit, er hat beim check in uns sehr geholfen. Man muss richtig Autofahren können wenn diese Unterkunft buchen. Am besten nutzt den Weg nach der Anweisung von Vermieter. Die Umgebung ist fantastisch, sehr ruhig und sehr privat. Wir werden Auf jeden Fall wiederkommen.

Tolle Lage mit wunderschöner Aussicht und privatem Parkplatz beim Haus. Das Haus ist grosszügig bemessen und zweckmässig ausgestattet. Die Gastgeberin war freundlich, hilfsbereit und wenn nötig, gut erreichbar. Besonders zu erwähnen ist der kleine Supermarkt gleich um die Ecke. Ein ganz lieber Dank dafür, dass wir eine schöne Zeit auf Madeira verbringen durften.

We had a great stay at Susana’s Airbnb in Funchal! The space was clean, bright, and very well-equipped — the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking. The highlight was definitely the enormous terrace with beautiful views over the city and sea — a perfect spot to relax. The only small issue was that the bed mattresses were not the most comfortable, as we could feel the springs. However, this didn’t take away from an overall lovely experience. Thank you, Susana!

Great location and very close to the marina, cable cars, tourist areas, shopping and restaurants. Oh my goodness and the views from the balcony were amazing! I was traveling with my sister and we were able to walk around at night and feel safe. Could the bed be a little softer, yes but it did its job. Loved the shower, loved the building, loved the responsiveness of the host. Also loved it had a private parking space for the rental. One of the best parts is the welcome water!! We were so parched and it was a perfect greeting.

Fabulous trip to Madeira, accommodation was excellent, very comfortable bed, lovely apartment, really enjoyed the balcony. The apartment was in a quiet street in the old town, close to lots of fabulous restaurants and the cable car station. Loved everything about it, our host was amazing really responsive and gave us some great recommendations for places to eat. Thoroughly enjoyed the food. Will definitely come back 😁

Wir waren in diesem wunderschönen Appartement gut aufgehoben. Da Privatunterkunft in einer Siedlung kann tagsüber was los sein, als Tourist ist man aber eh meist unterwegs. Die bis jetzt best ausgestattete Küche die wir mal gesehen haben. Man denkt an alles, dass man wg einer Woche nicht alles selbst einkaufen muss. Geschäft und Restaurant auch zu Fuß erreichbar. Gutes Internet. Hoffentlich sehen wir uns mal wieder!

Wir durften 6 Nächte in Julies wundervollem Apartment verbringen. Julie hat uns zuvor bereits proaktiv kontaktiert und wir haben unsere Ankunftszeit abgestimmt. Sie war dann vor Ort zur Übergabe der Schlüssel und hat uns auch alles erklärt, was wir wissen mussten. Die Unterkunft war wirklich einfach nur ein Traum, der Ausblick ist wundervoll und wir konnten uns gar nicht satt sehen daran. Es sah exakt aus wie auf den Fotos! In Küche und Badezimmer gab es alles, was man brauchte, sogar Duschgel und Shampoo! Bei einer kurzfristigen Änderung der Reisedaten war Julie super hilfsbereit. Wir können die Unterkunft von Julie sehr empfehlen!

Die gesamte Anlage ist der sehr sauber und ruhig. Die Wohnung ist modern und klar geschnitten. Die Ausstattung der Küche für einfaches Kochen gut ausgestattet. Leider liegt der Balkon den ganzen Tag im Schatten (Reisezeitraum im Februar), im Sommer ist man damit bestimmt gut aufgehoben. Wenn man Sonne möchte geht man ein wenig und ist am Pool. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Zeer goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding. Het appartement ligt in het midden van het centrum en vanaf hier kun je Funchal goed verkennen. De host reageert snel en is vriendelijk. De keuken is goed uitgerust, alleen het bestek en glazen waren niet goed afgewassen.

We had a fantastic stay in this cozy apartment right in the center of Funchal. The location couldn’t be better — just a few minutes' walk to the centre, restaurants, shops, and the beautiful waterfront. It made exploring the city super easy and convenient. The apartment was well-equipped and comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The host was friendly and responsive. Despite being in the heart of the city, it was surprisingly quiet at night, and the balcony was a lovely bonus for morning coffee or evening wine. Would recommend this place to anyone looking to explore Funchal on foot and experience the local vibe!

Bel appartement, très fonctionnel, magnifique vue L'application ne fonctionnait pas (problème de réseau ?) en bas de l'immeuble à l'arrivée, donc nous avons attendu un certain temps à la porte, ne pouvant contacter le propriétaire pour entrer Un peu plus loin de la plage que ce que nous avions compris, mais très bien situé

The apartment is in a great location. Tonnes of mixed restaurants nearby (some tourists may prefer if you want home comforts and others authentic Portuguese food) all just a walk away. A short walk to many local supermarkets too which is helpful when you need to quickly grab things. Private pool which was never busy and always quiet! We rented a car and the parking in the apartment is so accessible. We used the apartment as a base for many hikes so drove various distances from here to explore Madeira. Excellent host, great apartment and would stay in this airbnb next visit.

Polecamy bardzo! Wybraliśmy się we 4 osoby, zameldowanie było przy obecności gospodarza, lecz nie stanowiło to żadnego problemu, nawet lepiej bo dostaliśmy jeszcze wiele cennych wskazówek. Apartament bardzo czysty i pokrywał się z tym co jest oferowane na zdjęciach. Polecamy!

Geschmackvoll eingerichtete Wohnung. Gute Lage. Wichtig ist der Tiefgaragenplatz. Dafür gab es auch eine gute Einweisung zum Einparken, was wirklich hilfreich war. Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt. Schöner Blick auf die Altstadt und den Hafen. Ab und zu war es von der Straße laut. Die Fenster schließen den Lärm gut aus. Ein gelungener Urlaub

This was the perfect place for my family of 4 for 5 nights. Roberto met us for check-in and guided us into the garage, easy to park and utilize the remote control. From there you access the elevator to the 5th floor. The condo is exactly as it looks in the pictures. Our 2 adult children were with us and the room situation was ideal. The weather could have been better, lots of rain, wind mixed with some sun. I chose this over some other homes because of the amazing patio with a view, we didn't use that much due to rain.We ate at Francos the second night, which is around the corner, it was good, but we discovered the streets closer to the water and hotels, and ate in that area the next three nights. We also found a great breakfast/coffee shop called the LOFT in the same area, super yummy and so reasonable. The kitchen was fine, and worked for breakfast on a few days. Good to know there is a washer, but no dryer, so you have a drying rack. We loved our stay here!

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft. Besonders gefallen hat uns der grandiose Ausblick auf die Küste, die gute Ausstattung der Wohnung und die ruhige Lage. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt und würden die airbnb jederzeit wieder mieten!

Had a wonderful time spending a week here. Great location if you want to be just outside of the busy area of Funchal. Having a designated parking was really good since finding street parking can be challenging. Also located right next to a shopping mall with a grocery store so it’s easy to pick up essentials. Fatima who checked us in was great and responsive!
