Unwind at this unique & tranquil gem in a hidden neighborhood looking over the Back River to Tybee. The beach is accessible by car, or kayak from our dock for the adventurous soul. With miles of marsh on one side, & the Back River flowing to the ocean on the other, enjoy sunrises & sunsets. Use the salty beach bikes, kayaks, canoe, jump off the dock, build a (responsible) fire in the pit, or relax on the patio. This cozy downstairs suite has its own entrance in a private home. Comfy, cozy 1 bedroom apartment w/private entrance in the Thomas Square/Starland district, the coolest, most welcoming neighborhood in Savannah! Everything you need is here for the perfect home-base for your visit. We're a short walk to Forsyth Park, coffee shops, great restaurants, shops, & only 2 miles to River St. Full disclosure: This is a fun & busy part of town with street parking, street noises, & a fire station a few blocks away. Sorry no pets, service or ESA. (I have severe allergies)

River Bottom Bungalow

Island Retreat: Quiet and convenient.

This beautiful studio is in a private house on one of Savannah's barrier Islands. It is 12-15 minutes drive to Downtown ( Use Uber to take advantage of downtown Savannah's open container laws) and 10 minutes to the beach at Tybee Island. The room has a small private bath with shower with rain head, a full closet, coffee maker and fridge, vanity table. Mark, co-host, is a retired local guide who can provide information if needed. Cozy Vintage Bungalow

This cute one-bedroom bungalow is fully self-contained. Though it is attached to the main house, it has its own private entrance and porch, complete kitchen, and full-size washer/dryer. It is conveniently located in a quiet, southside neighborhood: less than a mile from Lake Mayer park, about 10 minutes from Sandfly & Skidaway, 15 minutes from downtown and River Street, and only 30 minutes to Tybee beaches. There is covered parking at the back and a beautiful live oak tree in the front.

Starlander Ltd.: The XL Suite, w/ private bath

The Starlander suites are within a 1920s townhouse that's part home (mine), part guest house, part art gallery, and a little bit library (I have a few books). I've travelled to over 70 countries, and my favorite stays were not in hotels, but in small guest houses and hostels with private rooms available. I liked the home-grown character of these places, and the chance to interact with the hosts and other guests. I hope to give others a similar opportunity in Savannah at the Starlander.

Welcome to our home and Charlie's place, a cozy one bedroom in-law suite just steps away from St. John's Cathedral and the Colonial Cemetery. We are in the heart of Savannah's Historic District, but not in the middle of the crowd. A perfect place to have a snack or bottle of wine, rest your head, or watch a movie after a long day of meeting with family and friends, visiting art galleries, paddling or boating on our local waterways, or walking our historic streets.

Lovely Loft in Starland with Private Entrance

This vacation studio was a labor of love -- I wanted to create a truly unique, comfy, open space, with a cool, eclectic vibe. We built a new bathroom and private entrance, with ceilings bumped up to the roof. We more recently added a small deck outside the guests' door, and created a funky garden/sitting area as well.
