It is in a perfectly central location for exploring Scotland - 15 mins from Perth and an hour's drive from Edinburgh, Glasgow and St Andrews, 2 miles from Auchterarder and only 4 miles from the world famous Gleneagles Hotel. Located 800 yards from the Main Street of Bushmills, yet far removed from the rush of everyday life is something guests love the most. The historical town of Bushmills is the perfect headquarters. Barns Tower is an authentic medieval mini castle with roaring log fires and all modern comforts. The Tower is located in a beautiful rural setting on the River Tweed and is an ideal location for exploring the Scottish Borders. Peebles is nearby with great amenities and there’s heavenly walks right from the door. Please be aware that The Tower is located at the end of a rural track and due care should be taken with speed and approach. The Tower is arranged over 4 floors with steep staircases.

A cosy hideaway in the hills

Unwind at this peaceful oasis in the hills of Argyll in the Trossachs national park. Our converted barn has a twin bedroom downstairs & double room on the open mezzanine above an open-plan living kitchen area. The bathroom has a bath and separate shower, as well as a washing machine and a tumble drier. Access to the adjacent forestry road is via a car park 100m north along the roadside. This offers extensive walking routes, including to the Benmore Botanic Garden, Pucks Glen & The Coylet.

All on one level, the property is wheelchair accessible throughout. It has stunning views across Hoy Sound and out to the open Atlantic. Parking is available right outside, but if you visit without a car, regular buses from Stromness go to all areas of Orkney.
