It is nestled in the quiet hamlet of Thorlby, just a short distance from the market town of Skipton in the Yorkshire Dales. Come and take in the stunning views on your doorstep, watch the many garden birds visiting the feeder as you sit and have your morning coffee on the patio. The only thing you can hear is 'quiet'. The hardest thing you will have to do is decide what you want to see or do.

Located on School Lane close to the centre of Settle, this Grade II listed cottage has been tastefully restored to provide a superb base to tour The Yorkshire Dales National Park. The open living room & dining kitchen is well equipped, with a double bedroom & shower wc all on one level & full height rooms. Central heating throughout the cottage. There is a loft area upstairs for storage of luggage & cycles.

The cottage is located just a short walk to the town centre. It has an upside down plan with a double bedroom and access to the bathroom with it's roll top bath on the ground floor. Upstairs is a small lounge/ kitchen/dining area. Outside the cottage is a small seating area to enjoy a nice cold drink after a day walking in the beautiful Yorkshire dales.

Our riverside cottage is on the River Aire in a quiet Yorkshire village near Skipton. It is a haven for wildlife and recently otters have been sighted in the river. Ideally placed for exploring the Yorkshire Dales. In addition to the river, Gargrave is on the Leeds Liverpool Canal and the Pennine Way. There is a lock box for convenient self check in.
