absolutely beautiful place! the cabin was so cute and clean and the surroundings were so peaceful. The view was absolutely breathtaking. nice secluded area with great amenities. the only complaint was the hot tub chlorine was so strong it made us cough, but we still enjoyed it. that was a minor thing compared to how great everything else was! we will certainly be back!

Sharon’s place was perfect for a quick weekend getaway for ourselves and two college aged kids. It is spacious with a very well equipped kitchen. The Dutch Tub is a lot of work but worth every minute of it for night time star gazing. We will definitely be returning!

We have used the same cabin for years and totally enjoy our stay every time. Two things I wanted to mention. The morning of our last day I noticed some water on the floor around the toilet. We wiped it up and didn’t notice any more before we left a short time later. The other thing is I grabbed a knife one morning to make sandwiches with. We needed to buy some jelly on the way to go fishing and make sandwiches when we got there. I accidentally left the knife in the plastic bag that ended coming home with me. If you could give me an address I’ll mail it back to you. We plan on coming back next year. I’ll be in touch. Thank you. Larry

Rich & Brittany have a lovely tiny house in a beautiful area! Their place is cozy, clean and has all the creature comforts, plus a nice big hot tub on a nearly wrap around deck and a big yard with a fire pit, with plenty of firewood, courtesy of R & B. If you're wanting to drive up a long and winding road in the mountains of West Virginia, to a cozy tiny house, that's "just right"? Then, Goldilocks will be much pleased! Cabin was clean and check-in was easy. Plenty of room, but was further away from the river than anticipated.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was a great post Christmas trip to the region. We actually felt the photos didn't do it justice and it's a little cuter and nicer than we were expecting!

Very private location. The house was a nice cabin with spectacular views and comfortable furnishings. Very spotty Verizon cell service, but wifi worked very well for calling and internet. Would recommend for a private get-away.

The road getting up to the place is rough but he provides a 4 wheel drive vehicle if you need it. The view is amazing and worth the rough road but be prepared for that.

We had a great time! Even though we arrived well past sunset, it was still easy to find. The cabin grounds were beautiful, and all the amenities worked as advertised. It's a cabin in the woods, so expect nature to intrude accordingly, but if you're not afraid of a bug or two, this is the forest cabin for you!

What a wonderful cabin! So comfy and had beautiful views at the river. Only down side was all the bugs outside but that’s to be expected when staying in the woods and by the river. Would definitely book here again!

Private, quiet, and minutes from Shenandoah National Park. It was exactly what we were looking for a quick getaway to a beautiful national park with our dog. And the lack of cell service added to the charm.

Lovely view of mountains and trees. Very peaceful and restful. We could actually understand how you can call it "whispering pines" when we heard the wind in the trees. The deck is spacious and has nice covered and uncovered seating. We enjoyed our coffee in morning and glass of wine at night there! Very comfortable home. Well stocked with lots of thoughtful touches! You can tell the hosts worked to ensure you had a comfortable stay! Bill and Stephanie (the hosts) live next door and introduced themselves early in our stay. Very friendly and helpful folks. It was nice to know they were nearby but you could not see them or any other neighbors' homes nor hear anyone at all. We were there in late April so did not need a AWD, there were a few miles of unpaved roads, but very manageable. I'd highly recommend!

The house was as described in the listing. Kelly was a great host and checked in to make sure everything was good for our stay.

Giovannella accepted our last minute request when our apartment flooded and was always responsive throughout our stay. The view was stunning and the residence lovely. It is clear she thought of everything!

Beautiful cabin. Loved the area. There’s a pond and boat behind the house. Make sure you bring bug spray!

Our trip was absolutely flawless. Maureen is a gracious host who has an amazing place in a perfect location outfitted with everything you could want or need for getting off the grid for a while. We can’t wait to go back! 100% recommend!!!

Our stay here was very peaceful. You can see the river from the porch at the bottom of the hill. There is a grill with a propane tank, a canoe, and all bedrooms have their own bathrooms, which was very nice. We would recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in Quicksburg. Just a note, the two bedrooms upstairs are very warm and do not cool down well in the summer.

10/10. We rented Melissa’s place for a month during ski season. The house was perfect for our family of four and had room for us to bring along family and friends. We had a great time creating memories at “the ski house”! Melissa‘s communication was always timely and helpful. The house was very well stocked with essentials. We hope to be back next year as well!

The chalet and surroundings were beautiful! The bedroom I stayed in was super cozy and when you go on the back deck, you can directly see Lake Laura! The perfect way to unplug during a long weekend getaway with nature! I loved the trail around the lake too.

The place does have an excellent view, and the location is perfect. It’s under 30 min from a lot of great trails, and even the immediate area is lovely to explore. The one thing I will say is that the condo is on the older side, so don’t expect fresh, new appliances. Nonetheless, everything (including the heating) works flawlessly. Patricia and Tracy were very responsive and very helpful, ready to help with whatever I needed. Another important note is all the hills, in that the condos around here are all literally built into them. Be prepared to walk uphill and put stress on your car. Other than that, there’s nothing I would change.

This was my second time staying at Dawn’s place. Located very close to my daughter’s home, it is very convenient for me to stay there when I am in Luray. I am very pleased to have found accommodations that are reliably comfortable, clean and pleasant for my visits.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Eileen's. Her home was beautiful. The amenities she provided was above and beyond other places I have stayed. We loved the fresh eggs we were able to purchase. The home was warm and cozy on the cold nights. We used both the fire pit and the hot tub. They were both great. If we are in the area again we would definitely book again.

Sara’s home was the perfect place for our family birthday celebration weekend. Very comfortable, lots of outdoor space for the kids. Nice to have a bathroom for each bedroom. Kitchen was spacious and well stocked. Dining table was an ample size for our crowd. Large den/movie room. I’m sorry we never had time for a movie. The kids enjoyed the river, skipping rocks and even enjoying a swim. The house is near Luray and the Caverns - a bonus. We could easily return.
