I booked this rental of behalf of family members who were visiting San Francisco for an extended 9 day stay over the holidays. Martina’s place is an easy 10 minute walk from my own home which made it a perfect location to have family close by. The rental unit, which is downstairs from the main residence, is as advertised and looks just like the photos. Upon arrival, Martina met us to walk us through the property and make sure everything went smoothly. She was super helpful and responsive to any questions throughout the stay. The apartment was very cozy and good size. One thing worth noting is that you need to walk outside (on the back porch) to get between the two bedrooms. This was not an issue but might be say for parents with small children. Each bedroom had a fridge and bathroom, so the separation actually provides additional privacy, if that’s what you are looking for. The outside space, particularly the hot tub & attached sauna were especially enjoyed. Great stay!

Danna is a lovely host! She made delicious breakfast and also hosted house dinners, where she made a simple but delicious 3-course meal! The room is beautiful and has a stunning view. I also love the neighborhood. I had a great time and hope to be back soon!

We feel incredibly lucky to have stayed with Sandor and Giuliana. This was hands down one of the most special Airbnb experiences my wife and I ever had—and we’ve been using Airbnb for nearly 12 years. We were welcomed like family, and staying with them (and their adorable dog Georgio!) truly felt like a home away from home. We stayed for nearly two weeks and every morning started with breakfast and warm conversation—it’s the kind of hospitality you rarely find anymore. The location is amazing—right next to the Presidio and just steps from all the great shops and restaurants on Chestnut Street. Having parking was also super helpful since we had a rental car. This is what Airbnb used to be like back when they first started—personal, heartfelt, and full of real human connection. Sandor and Giuliana, thank you for opening your home to us. We're already looking forward to visiting again in the future.

room was bright, luxury towels and robe nice touch. it was great to have a fridge with breakast food and drinks right next to room. also it was quiet.

Doug and Richard were super accommodating and gave some of the best recommendations for food/bars/activities. The room has a nice street view and very clean. The cats are social and love to chill in bed in the early mornings. Overall a great place for a visit to San Francisco, I highly recommend!

Dan provided really clear instructions, which was great because I didn’t have a lot of time prior to arrival to get ready for my trip. The locks were easy and the bedroom was clean. The skylights in the Sky Room were really cool - TONS of light in the bathroom from the skylight which was nice for doing makeup or getting ready in the morning. The bed was really comfortable and the brownie was delicious. The garden was in bloom and was a peaceful place for my quick light breakfast. A great value stay walkable to some of my favorite spots in Berkeley and Elmwood.

This is the second time for me staying at Ram’s for a conference in SF. The checkin is easy as they provide accurate instructions. They also provide free breakfast at a cafe below the hotel! Overall for the clean room, free breakfast and accessibility in the city I would highly recommend Ram’s for a couple of nights stay for professional visiting the city

Skate, Jeannie, Marley, and Ziggy were great hosts! I loved how friendly they all were. Our hosts checked in with us often to make sure we were enjoying our stay and were finding our way around the city. The garden was a perfect oasis to just sit in and feel at peace while looking at the beautiful scenery, listening to the water fountains, and a friendly kitty purring on our lap. They provided a binder with lots of helpful information, and they sent some personalized suggestions prior to our stay answering some questions I had regarding places to eat for someone with food allergies. The location was within a 30 min drive of Haight/Ashbury, Ghirardelli Square, and Fisherman's Wharf (shorter during low traffic times), but despite having our own vehicle and using Waymo many times to get around, the walk to the 360 viewing park next to their home was BEAUTIFULLY STUNNING! if we ever come back to san francisco, we will definitely stay here again! thank u for a great anniversary vacation!

This was an absolutely wonderful stay thanks to Susanna and John, who are the most amazing humans! Their two dogs were also a delight. The place was exactly as described, even more beautiful in person. The hospitality was truly exceptional. I highly recommend staying here to anyone looking for a fantastic experience. I would absolutely visit again!

Très bel accueil de Rye, qui parle un français tout à fait correct. Son appartement présente beaucoup de charme et est décoré avec bon goût et classe. Nous sentons que nous sommes chez une artiste. Tout était vraiment parfait, avec le petit déjeuner dans une cuisine des plus agréables. Si nous repassons un jour par San Francisco, nous connaissons notre adresse. Merci beaucoup Rye !

I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Delane’s home is lovely, well-maintained and beautifully decorated. The downtown area is within walking distance. Delane went out of her way to make me feel welcome and to ensure I was comfortable. Couldn’t ask for a better host!

Nancy and Roger are very generous, welcoming and proactive hosts. They made sure that we felt comfortable and enjoyed our time here. The house is a short ride from Santa Cruz and the Henry Cowell State Park. Our hosts had excellent recommendations for hikes and food. They also paid great attention to detail in setting up the room — there were a lot of thoughtful touches and we had everything we needed. The room, the bathroom and the house in general are very clean. The surroundings are beautiful and calm. We definitely recommend!

Pamela and Richard went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and acquainted with the space. They met us for check in and made us feel right at home. We enjoyed many a wonderful conversation with them throughout our stay over breakfast which they thoughtfully set out each morning. Their house was stunning and walking distance from Piedmont and College Ave which made our stay very fun and easygoing. There were so many personal touches along the way, including homemade jam and honey with the breakfast. We would be honored to be able to stay again sometime.

It was nice staying at Richatd's house. He was a wonderful host that treat you with upmost respect. I would definitely stay again. Thank you, Richard for everything.

Great place. Wonderful modern remodel. Sarah and Pankaj have set up an ideal communal space. I was quite happy with my room, the house, the location… the price was relatively affordable for the area and SF. I had my car and thoroughly enjoyed having ample street parking in a safe peaceful neighborhood. Great city views and access to all you need. Convenient Whole Foods… and a pedestrian bridge over the 101 that puts you into the heart of the Mission District. I would happily return.

Alex and Nuby's place was great! I rented the house for Fri/Sat/Sun because my volunteer fire crew had a training at the nearby Ben Lomond training center and we didn't want to commute 90 minutes each way on training days! Alex and Nuby were SUPER flexible. When half our crew (4 additional people) had their accommodations fall through, Alex and Nuby allowed all 7 of us to stay in the house. There was a fold-out sofa and they brought in extra cots so everyone would have somewhere to sleep. They gave us a tour of the place when we arrived, were super responsive on AirBNB texts and generally let us have the run of the place. The house is VERY nice and the hot tub was exactly what we needed after long days of hard training. I will definitely plan to stay again in the future, when we have trainings nearby.

Darcy's and Nick's is a true b&b in the old-school sense. My wife and I enjoyed a fabulous, home-cooked breakfast every morning. The breakfast selection changed every day. As guest Dave-from-Bozeman wrote, Darcy bakes awesome sourdough bread, and it was freshly out of the oven for us to enjoy when we arrived. So, our stay started out on a high note (which was sustained throughout the stay). The space is clean, artfully decorated, comfortable, roomy, and the area is quiet. The location is great: about 1/2 block from Golden Gate Park. The hot tub on the upper patio was a delightful place to relax after long walks around the city. Darcy is the ultimate host (Nick was out of town, so unfortunately we did not get to meet him): she communicates quickly and clearly, and she is a great conversationalist. By the time we checked out, we had become friends with her. This was a 5-star stay in every aspect, and we look forward to our next stay at Darcy's and Nick's!
