The Hunter Valley vineyards start here, with Broke & Pokolbin vineyards 45 minutes away. We are a Haflinger Horse stud on 210 acres, with show jumping and eventing facilities. We cater to couples, friends and small families who are looking for a place to escape the rat race but still close enough to enjoy all that the Hunter Valley offers. Guests can also wander through the vineyard, enjoy a tasting (on request) and take in the surrounding captivating scenery.

Claret Ash Cottage is a beautiful 1890's mining cottage nestled in the hamlet of Elderslie, Hunter Valley. The cottage accommodates up to 6 guests and suits those wanting to wind down by the fire pit in winter or on the back deck watching the sunset in summer - whilst enjoying the bounty of the Wine Country region. A picturesque 25 minute drive will have you in the heart of the wineries during the day - then back to Claret Ash Cottage by night to wine, dine and admire the view.
