Frostpocket - Charming Coastal Country Cottage

Frost-Pocket is a beautifully restored former gamekeeper's cottage on the Ardgowan Estate, minutes away from the shores of the Clyde with its serene coastal walks and spectacular views across to Argyll. The cottage has two bedrooms; a double and a twin; a good sized bathroom; well-equipped kitchen, and a boot room with a washing machine & tumble dryer, and enclosed garden. The open plan sitting/dining room offers a cosy place to relax, with woodburning stove, high-speed wifi, and smart TV.

Wee nunnery seaside venue, sleeps 12

Nestled on the banks of the river Clyde, the Wee Nunnery is a bright, spacious sea front exclusive use spa venue sleeping up to 12 guests. Originally the coach house for the nearby Archbishops house (The Old Nunnery venue), then a convent for over a century, it's a great mix of modern and quirky Victorian. With hot tub, sauna and bookable spa treatments and catering, it's perfect for a seaside gatherings. Earlier check in / later departure is available, unless we have a same day change.

Our cottage is perfect for families, couples or friends who want a peaceful base to explore glorious Argyll. This is a truly magical place, with incredible sea views, and a large garden that leads straight on to the shore. It's also a great base for exploring the Isle of Bute, the "Secret Argyll Coast", and the Arrochar Alps. After a big day out, you can come back and relax in front of the log burner. Leac Na Sith means "Hearthstone of Tranquility"... it could not be a more appropriate name.
