Take it easy at this unique, tranquil Kenai getaway! This Dog Friendly One Room Cozy Cabin has a Queen over Queen bunk bed, a private covered porch, blackout shades, small table/2 chairs and mini fridge. This year round heated cabin (no water in cabin) has use of a separate building called Basecamp which has 7 bathrooms, free laundry facilities, a double kitchen, fireplace, seating. Our new property consists of 12 One Room Cabins, 4 two bedroom cabins, Basecamp and an on-site Property Manager.

The Bear Home offers gorgeous, upscale riverfront accommodations for your Alaska dream vacation. Nestled along the Kenai River in the heart of Kenai Peninsula, this tranquil setting is the perfect basecamp for your adventures. Easy driving to Seward or Homer. A private trail from this vacation home leads to our sister property, Kenai Riverside Lodge, an ecolodge specializing in guided fishing and rafting day trips. Cabin is small, cozy and clean. Full bed and single downstairs. Ladder loft has space for 2. Pets ok with extra fee. No bathroom in cabin,a mermaid outhouse nearby and a summer outdoor hotwater shower and coldwater sink. Shared firepit. Wood is available,water nearby on property. Must register pets as they require an additional cleaning fee. 1 or 2 pets kept on leash and never left unattended. Please pick up after. TY Close to Kenai River, mtns and coast. Very relaxed and casual here!

Explore the shoreline of Cook Inlet, which boasts the second largest tides in the world.

(Property is shared with a main house, another cabin, and yurt) but there is plenty of space for privacy.

This property also includes a fenced in front yard, back deck with yard and trees, large driveway and a single car garage. Not to mention a newly renovated playground across the street.
