Lovely place to stay, Carolyn was there to greet me on arrival. The view from the shared back porch was beautiful! Could see a lot of stars too. Good little continental breakfast provided. Although I could easily hear them when they were in the next room and worried I made too much noise for them, I think it worked out fine and we didn't end up being obtrusive once it was bedtime!

Lovely Victorian building. Great selection for breakfast. Friendly and welcoming. Couldn't ask for more.

We had an amazing stay at Nikki’s place as a group of 13, the house was spotless and in the perfect location to explore Drum and the surrounding areas. We especially loved the large function space and lovely outdoor seating area, we were blessed with amazing weather so we got to make the most of it! Nikki is a fantastic host and has been very quick to respond and answer any questions. I would absolutely recommend this place and hope to return at some point soon!

Maureen was amazing, she was super lovely and such a kind soul. We cannot recommend more! We had the most stunning sunset at the beach and felt like home during our whole stay. Thanks for having us and hope to be back in future.

Amazing stay! It was in a perfect location, room was nice and clean, and parking was easy. Breakfast in the morning was delicious and a huge plus. 5-10 minute easy walk to downtown. Definitely stay here for Portree

Our stay with Lynne was absolutely incredible from start to finish. She was accommodating and extremely flexible with our checkin times, as we had a changeable schedule. She cooked us delicious breakfast with fresh produce (including her freshly baked bread!) every morning, and it filled us up for hours. Lynne was also kind enough to take us out in the morning to feed her sheep and show us around the Croft. The bedroom and bathroom were comfy and clean, and the lounge area has one of the best views I’ve seen at an air bnb. We’ll definitely be returning next time we come up to Skye.

Staying at Margaret Ann's place exceeded our expectations. There are not many photos, which can often be misleading, but in this case left us pleasantly surprised. We were very worried about our late arrival, but Margaret Ann greeted us at the door, already had the underfloor heating prepared for us, and offered to make us a packed breakfast for the morning (which fully sustained us). The room is huge with large available closets, a comfy chair, a wooden rocking chair, handheld telescope, and is stocked with coffee, tea, and shortbread for the morning. The bed was unbelievably comfortable, especially after a long travel day and a few subpar stays elsewhere. Having an ensuite bathroom was also delightful. My only regret is that we couldn't stay longer and that we didn't arrive earlier to fully enjoy it. We arrived after dark and were astonished by the view in the morning! Our primary reason for the stay was to be near the ferry to Skye, but I highly recommend a longer visit here!

This place is amazing value and so much more than a B&B with private access and plenty of space, a very comfy bed and sofa. Christine and Howard are lovely hosts who make you feel really welcome and are on hand if you need anything but also respect your privacy. The welcome hamper is the best I've ever seen and was all much appreciated, and the kitchen was stocked with a wide range of breakfast cereals and tea and coffee. The apartment is in a beautiful and quiet location with views of sea and mountains at the front and easy access to Big Sand beach through the nearby campsite, yet only a short drive from all that Gairloch has to offer (my personal happy place being The Mountain bookshop and cafe!)

This place is absolutely beautiful. The terrace is perfect when u love nature, sea, sheep and highland cattle. Lots of walk are possible from here. About the castle it’s really a stunning one. Services are at the best with all confort needed … it’s really a jewel and we hope come back here in the future.

We stayed in the Fassfern apartment and it was exactly what the pics looked like. It was spacious, cosy and had an incredibly beautiful view from the first floor. The kitchen had all the necessary appliances and utensils along with breakfast supplies. The bathroom was spacious and clean. The host, Norma, was eco-minded and supplied eco-friendly shampoos and soaps, and even an eco-friendly dish cleaning scrub. Her instructions were very clear and the place was easy to find. We enjoyed our stay here and would recommend it to others as well as come back ourselves in the future.

Accomodation was great. Lovely views. Access area to flat very basic. Very close to Fort William centre So great for us.

Very comfortable large apartment with beautiful views and plenty to do in the area. Nice that there was cereals, bread and milk when we arrived.

Christopher's flat is in a great location, just a short walk to the shops, restaurants and sea front. The flat was spotless and lovely and cosy. I'll definitely book again if it's available the next time I'm working in the area.

It was a nice stay. We were traveling with a baby and they prepared a baby cot for us, very sweet. The window is directly facing the water, it’s beautiful to look out.

A perfect stopover on your route around the Highlands. Immaculate home, beautiful surroundings, engaging host, delicious breakfast. Highly recommended!

Il soggiorno da Vicki è stato semplicemente stupendo! Ho apprezzato molto il suo gusto nell’arredamento, la cura ai dettagli e la deliziosa colazione con prodotti homemade. Potersi rilassare con un bagno caldo, leggendo un buon libro scelto tra le proposte della loro libreria sorseggiando infusi e godendosi la vista dalle vetrate dopo una lunga giornata di trekking sull’isola di Syke è qualcosa di indescrivibile. Vicki è un host gentile, dal momento in cui ci ha accolti fino a quando ci siamo salutati è sempre stata sorridente e non ci ha mai fatto mancare nulla.

Great accommodation which was spotlessly clean. Anne was an extremely helpful and friendly host. Her bungalow is set in a lovely peaceful location with stunning views over the loch. Superb breakfast with plenty of choice. Highly recommend and hope to return in the future. Thank you Anne for making us so welcome.

We had a very pleasant experience at Rhoda's B&B. Rhoda and her husband were warm and welcoming. The place was so cozy and beautiful. Rhoda served us a hot breakfast every morning and helped us with local recommendations. But our hearts belonged to Kai, their dog who was so friendly and playful!! Hoping to visit back sometime soon.

Juliet ist eine sehr liebe, zuvorkommende Person. Sie war regelmäßig zu erreichen und hat in einem nicht aufdränglichen Maß nach dem Rechten gefragt. Für Wünsche unsererseits hatte sie immer ein offenes Ohr und diese auch in Rahmen der Möglichkeiten erfüllt (z.b. eine Kühltasche für unseren Aufschnitt) Die Unterkunft war sehr schön und in super Lage zum Loch Ness. Auch das Glenfinnan Viaduct war mit 1,5h gut zu erreichen. Alles in allem war es ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

We really loved staying here! It was clean and very quiet. We absolutely adored the location. It was so pretty and it was a really nice day too. We enjoyed Roy's hospitality and his breakfast too. Definitely a great place to stay!

Our stay with Janet was great! She was very accommodating with our schedule coming in and leaving. She had great knowledge of the area and sites to see during our short trip! The breakfast was incredible, we didn’t even need lunch after we finished. We hope to come to Scotland again and would most definitely come back to stay at Fair Winds B&B next time!
