#1 Teepees by the River - Running Horse

This private and secluded teepee is located on 16 private acres along the Middle Fork of the Payette River in Garden Valley, Idaho just an hour and fifteen minutes from Boise. Our teepees are approximately 225 sq. ft. and can accommodate up to 6 people comfortably. There are a maximum of 10 Teepees on the premises. There three chemical toilets conveniently located throughout the campground. Each teepee site has its own solar shower, mounted cold water shower and a mirror. You are required to bring your own camping gear; cookware, eating utensils, sleeping bags, etc... Each teepee site is outfitted with firepit, grill grate, picnic bench, log benches, hammock, 2 burner propane camp stove, hibachi grill and wash basins for dishes. Guests sit and relax while enjoying the sounds of nature. In the evenings, glampers can relax around the fire pit while cooking up some s'mores, the perfect way to relax at the end of a full and busy day of hiking and exploring the surrounding area. This secluded teepee provides basic amenities for those who want a minimalistic weekend in nature. Bring your own camping gear and sleeping accommodations. There is no electricity, but solar lighting and oil lamps provide all the ambient glow that guests need. Wi-Fi is available at the host's residence, but due to the secluded nature of the rental, it is limited. Each Teepee campsite has an assigned parking space in the designated parking area. No vehicles are allowed past the designated parking lot. Guests are required to walk to their teepee campsite. There are handcarts available to transport your belongings to and from your Teepee campsite. If you need any assistance, please contact the onsite facility host. This RV is most comfy for 2 adults and 2 kids, due to 2 beds being bunk beds, 32" x 70". The table turns into almost a full bed, best for 1 adult and there is a very comfy queen bed with a privacy door. All amenities are here except a washer/dryer. There is a gas stove and oven, propane bbq, refrigerator/freezer, heat/AC, tv with Amazon firestick and dvd's , table, chairs & rockers & roasting sticks to relax around the campfire. Beautiful views, sunsets, wildlife and birds await you!

We are on our winter price schedule (limited outside propane barbecue cooking only). You will sleep warm and feel safe. You save expensive Boise hotel money by staying with us. YES, you get to use our outhouse. We are an eclectic glamping option for travelers to save money and Idaho residents who need a staycation. You can meet our 3 goats, pet bunnies, feed chickens, quail, a horse, or a donkey. Sit by your campfire. When you're outside, listen to the creek across the road.

Situated on our 3 acres, we are only 1 mile from beautiful downtown Bozeman and 20 minutes from Bridger Bowl. There is a local coffee shop (Treeline), local bakery (Wild Crumb), local deli (Fink's), and 2 breweries (Mountains Walking & Bozeman Brewing Co) within walking distance. The walking trail system is accessible from a gate on our property also.
