This is a self contained studio apartment below our house. The room is large and include a sleeping corner with a queen bed, a bathroom, a gourmet kitchen and living room area with a queen size sofa bed. It has its own separate entrance from Napa Street, where you can park your car. Parking is free. It is roomy, quiet, clean, safe and private. Located in the beautiful Vallejo Heritage District, the house is surrounded by Victorian houses most of them being landmarks relating to the rich history of the place. Walking distance from public transit and the ferry building, you can catch a ferry every hours and cross the bay to San Francisco. Are you driving? Access is easy from San Francisco and Sacramento by Hwy 80, it only takes 20 minutes to UC Berkeley and 40 minutes to UC Davis. Only 10 minutes away from the legendary 6 Flags Discovery Kingdom amusement park, and 15 minutes away from Infineon Sonoma Raceway. We are at the edge of the wine country, in 20 minutes you are in Napa and 30 minutes in Sonoma. Are you travelling without a car? Take bus and BART to and from San Francisco or Oakland airports. Napa Valley Vine public bus, will take you to the wine country. Want a day trip to San Francisco? The Bay Link ferry and/or bus will take you right where you want to go. Discovery Kingdom? No problem use the Vallejo Transit. This is great place to stay in you are visiting the bay area or if you are working in the area. If you are looking for a nice, fun and affordable place, look no further. It is great for one person, but can accommodate a couple with a kid (or two). We have a dog, she's super sweet and friendly and lives upstairs in our house with us and has never been in the studio.
