Nice safe place to stay…

The Vintage Inn was perfect for our overnight stay in Wellington. Room was perfect with nice pub and good breakfast in the morning. Dave was very friendly and helpful.

It was wonderful to stay in Chapel Hill for a few days! Carolynn and Roland are very hospitable and wonderful people, who immediately make you feel at home. Every morning I enjoyed a delicious breakfast and had nice conversations with Carolynn. The house is located in a beautiful and quiet area, but within walking distance of Lynton and Lynmouth. The walk to Watersmeet is also definitely worth it! Or the Exmoor Coaster open bus service to Porlock and Minehead. Also, if you do not have a car at your disposal, you can easily take the bus from Barbrook to Lynton/Lynmouth.

Smallish bedroom in a very cute old cottage. Good for a short stay of couple of days or so. Modernized kitchen and spacious bathroom with power shower. Olivia was very helpful, friendly, and flexible with checking/out, and offered suggestions on local activities. The dog Ted was friendly and very hyper, but stayed out of the bedroom. Excellent breakfast with range of cereals, toast and homemade jam, tea, coffee for a good start to the day. Very central location in Frome. (Listing says both shared and private bathroom in different paces, but it really is private). Good value, and highly recommended.

I stayed a whole week in Judith's beautiful home and felt so comfortable. Judith is a very friendly and welcoming host, and I felt completely relaxed (which I haven't always when staying in a host's house with them). I was busy every day and Judith's place was a calm retreat in the evening. The double bedroom was immaculately clean and very comfortable, and all the amenities were spotless. The house is in a quiet estate on the edge of town rather than central Glastonbury so there's a 10-15 minute walk in and out - for me this was ideal as it meant I could step out of the intensity and busyness of town, but I was grateful for my car a couple of times, as I had to dash back and forth quite a bit, carrying lots of things with me! Importantly, Judith's place is only a short walk to some of the most beautiful parts of the area - the Chalice Well Gardens, White Spring and the Tor. Had some great chats with Judith and loved gorgeous Milo the dog. Highly recommend for a quiet break!

Helen was very welcoming and friendly. House was clean and free from clutter. She cleared a shelf in the fridge for me. I was on a swimming training course nearby, so didn’t need to use the bath or shower, so can’t comment on that.

Third stay at 8 Owls and it reslly is a perfect place to stay centrally located. Very useful shared spaces like the kitchen and veranda. We had a couple questions and hosts were so responsive and extremey helpful to us. Vrry cute extra touches around the place. Very beautiful accomodation. 😍 would stay again in a heart beat 💓

I had a wonderful experience staying with my host and her husband, Jim. Jim is such a kind and thoughtful man, on my first day at work, he generously gave me a lift to my workplace, which made a world of difference. We had some great conversations during the ride, and he truly made me feel welcomed and at ease. I would wholeheartedly recommend Jim as the go-to person for anything you might need. They both made my stay memorable, and I’m so grateful for their hospitality!

Wonderful meeting by Jenny’s family, really enjoyed the breakfast they provided.. We enjoyed our stay.

Claire’s place and Claire and Nick themselves are delightful. The accommodation is lovely, very clean and is part of their own home so they are on hand for anything you may need and provide a very good choice of breakfast fare and fresh bread each day but are very discreet. There are table and chairs outside and comfy furniture inside. We loved our stay here and would highly recommend it.

We had a brilliant stay at Bridge House. The room was absolutely lovely and had everything we needed. The location is great - right in the centre of town and we found it easy to park close by. Caroline was was very welcoming and breakfast was fantastic. Thanks for a great stay.

What a lovely couple everything we read in their previous reviews was true..spent a very relaxed and pleasant weekend and it was so nice to chat at breakfast. Would definitely recommend and book again if in the area. Loved Otto the most placid and friendly doggy we have ever met. Only one thing - we could have done with having a fan in the bedroom as it was warm. TBH we could have asked for one but we didn’t bother, but in the high summer would be good to have one in the room which to be fair they probably do provide one.

We had a truly lovely stay at Fanella’s B&B. We came to Somerset to attend a wedding and Fanella’s B&B is a perfect stay. We arrived at the place by the very reliable 28 bus in the late light and were received with the warmest welcome. The whole B&B is like a hotel with home-like touch. We rested well and were served with delicious British English breakfast the next day. Not many places on AirBnB still serve food nowadays so we were pleasantly surprised! We enjoyed the food very much. Fanella and Graham were lovely, helpful and gave us helpful tips on getting around. We had a lovely chat and enjoyed our stay 100%. We wish we could stay longer! This will be our go-to place if we visit Somerset again. Highly recommended!

Truly wonderful, unmissable and luxurious - a perfect stay in an incredibly beautiful house. The hosts could not be nicer. We will visit again, soon I hope!

Unfortunately, I had to cancel my stay at the last minute. Alison was extremely helpful, always very responsive in communications, gave very detailed location and access instructions, was very flexible re arrival times etc. I hope to rebook with Alison asap!

What a beautiful place to stay. On arrival Pauline immediately moved us to a double room as it was our anniversary despite having booked the twin. It was a stunning room with a 4 poster bed! Everything about the place was beautifully maintained. We were able to explore the gardens at our leisure, again absolutely amazing with historic water ways as it had previously been a mill. Yhe breakfast vets equally of a high standard. The nearby village of Cannington was easily walkable with shops, pubs and restaurants. Pauline was extremely friendly and welcoming.

We loved staying at Sally’s place. It was so peaceful that as soon as I arrived I had a beautiful nap! Such gorgeous surrounding and our room was beautiful. Sally was so friendly and helpful :-) Definitely recommend staying here if you want a quiet place to rest your head. Wedmore is a such a quaint village which lovely little shops and so easy to get everywhere. It’s a great place to stay if you want to explore the surrounding areas of Glastonbury and Wells.

We had a great stay at Claudine & David’s place, they were extremely welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was delicious and the bed very comfy with a lovely view out to sea. The location was perfect for exploring the local sites - you can walk to Lynton and the valley of the rocks (the vernacular railway is within a 5 min walk if you don’t fancy climbing the hill!)

I stayed with Avril for one night and she is a very good host. The place was spotless, and in my room, which had a lockable door, I had tea and coffee making facilities, plus use of the main kitchen, for which she had bought me bread to toast for breakfast, as well as some chocolate filled buns. It's now my go to place to stay whenever I visit the area.

My second stay here and just as lovely as before. Vivienne is the perfect host and makes you feel so welcome. The accommodation is wonderful with a super comfy bed and luxury bathroom. Vivienne provides a tasty breakfast, and the weather was so nice I had breakfast in the garden every day. I would totay recommend a stay here!

We had a fabulous short stay with our two sausage dogs. Ideal base for a quick visit to see local family. Lovey little touches with the milk, bread etc. Would highly Recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
