Beautiful Restored Barn -The Old Stables

The Old stables is part of the original estate of Cary Fitzpaine. Although the setting is rural, we are a short way from A37 (.5 mile) and A303 (1.5 miles) which makes us very accessible to other amenities/attractions. The property is self contained and private, with a contained garden. The owners live nearby and are happy for guests to walk around the farm, and are also on hand if required. We are in easy reach of many National Trust properties, Yeovilton Fleet Air Arm & Haynes Car Museums.

Our cosy waggon overlooks its own private valley, complete with 19th Century coachbridge and secluded wild swimming spot. Set in 25 acres of woodland and pasture, our waggon offers an opportunity to switch off, curl up with a book and get back to nature. It includes an ensuite with shower and its own kitchen.. Relax in the hot tub spa after a busy day or share a drink on the tree deck built into a 400 year old Oak tree. Cook in a fully equipped kitchen or enjoy the rain whilst sat in a rocking chair. Snooze in a hammock and then relax in front of a film before heading to a comfy king size bed.

Otters Holt: Dog friendly loft in converted barn

Unwind in the beautiful Somerset countryside. Set within a wing of this historic medieval stone Manor House, Otters Holt at Chipley Escapes is on the first floor and accessed via its own private entrance and staircase. The two bedroom apartment is furnished to a high standard and includes log burner, Smart TV and a well equipped kitchen comprising oven and grill, induction hob and fridge. The dining table converts to a workstation and the contemporary bathroom has a large walk-in shower.

The Tallet is opposite the old farmhouse and next to a magnificent Somerset cider barn. The private terrace has a covered eating area and open lounging space enclosed by walls and clipped box hedging. The underfloor heating and electric log burner add warmth to the sitting room and the spacious open plan kitchen makes for a sociable space.

Godminster Manor Cottage

Set in a private cobbled courtyard on an organic farm, half a mile from Bruton, this old stone cottage has been lovingly restored. It has an inglenook fireplace, oak-framed roofs, flagstone and elm floors, with art and furniture collected over many years filling the rooms. Bruton is renowned for its restaurants and art galleries. The 'Newt in Somerset' is next door and there many other wonderful nearby destinations and beautiful walks from the farm within the surrounding countryside.

The cottage is bright and airy, well decorated with quality furnishings, Large gardens with shrubs, flowers, trees, Jacuzzi, swings and trampoline. There is a well fitted kitchen, utility and large Conservatory. Our dog friendly cottage sits 100 metres from the lane, where parking is available. Kennel Farm lies within the Exmoor National Park on the banks of the River Barle, 1 mile from the beautiful town of Dulverton.
