We had EVERYTHING we needed. It was clean, comfortable and surpassed our expectations. Wonderful kitchen and the shower and bath are MARVELOUS. We sat by the firepit and watched the seals for HOURS! Thank you so much. Highly recommend!

We spent three nights here over the Easter weekend, arriving in dire need of some uncomplicated R&R and beauty - and we found it! Margo's suite was perfect for our small family of three - a giant and comfortable king bed and curtained off bunkbed for our teenager for sleeping, and a clean and comfy space for cooking and living. We soaked up the beautiful spring garden off the covered patio space and the stunning water views beyond - and also spent time down the steep pathway to the deck and garden bordering the beach below. We also squeezed in some Powell River things: local hiking, a leisurely sunset walk at Willingdon Beach, take-out from Little Hut Curry, cocktails and dinner at Costa Del Sol, and a flick at the epic Patricia Theatre. Margo and her husband were very responsive to our questions and kindly offered ideas to make our stay more comfortable. Recommend.

We had an incredible stay at Saratoga Beach Resort! The location is absolutely stunning, steps from a beautiful sandy beach where we could relax, walk for miles, and watch the tides roll in and out. The unit was spotless, cozy, and thoughtfully stocked with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was very comfortable, and we loved the peaceful, quiet atmosphere, it truly felt like a dream retreat. We were lucky to visit during a quieter time and it felt like we had the beach almost to ourselves. Communication was smooth and easy, and check-in was a breeze. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway by the ocean. We’re already dreaming about coming back!

Marnie’s Whale Rock Cottage was a little piece of heaven. It is such a unique spot and perfect for a quiet weekend away connecting with nature and whoever you are with. You had everything you needed in a magical spot. We spent quiet moments watching wild life from the deck. Heaven. I would love to go back and high recommend to anyone. Marnie was so kind and looked after us so well.

Wonderful location. A bit hard to find as it’s right off the highway and house number is on house which is set back from the road. Driveway is a bit tricky if there are other cars there. Beds were very comfy and lots of space for everyone! Can’t beat the views and so awesome for the kids to play on the beach

Our stay was amazing. We really loved the space and the being able to use the sauna privately. Would Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice little getaway. Will definitely stay again in the future.

Wonderful hidden gem, very cute cabin to relax in. The views were amazing and the property had everything to offer. I got into the hotub first thing in the morning and it was sooo peaceful. We have family there so we will BE BACK!

The location and house far exceeded our expectations! Private, peaceful and oh so beautiful and picturesque! The hot tub was a big hit! Melissa was such a lovely host and was so easy to communicate with! Great holiday!

Absolutely amazing property, with two very friendly and helpful hosts. Can be a little bit of work to get there, but totally worth it.
