Amazing place with incredible views & good facilities. We loved using the pizza oven and brai, also the kayaks, and Phiri kindly let us use the washing machine too. The kitchen has so much storage space and two big fridges (although missing a few simple useful things like a colander). Great place, with lots of space for 6 people. Loved it.

We had the most wonderful week at Daniel’s place. The house was beautiful and immaculately maintained. The location couldn’t have been better and we will definitely be back!

Magical place. Great location and a dream for the kids being so close to the water. House has everything you need and layout works great if you have kids and friends over. We will be visiting this spot very soon again..and regularly!

My family and I enjoyed our stay - this felt like home away from home. The pictures didn’t do it any justice, the place is more beautiful in person. A safe haven indeed, from the busyness of the city. Everything looked amazing and perfectly located. The host was easily accessible and proactive, not to mention friendly and helpful.

Black Eagle Lake house was an absolutely amazing experience. Every detail was thoughtfully taken care of, and the amenities provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The house was spotless, cozy, and perfectly maintained. From the moment we arrived, Ashton gave us a warm and heartfelt welcome — his service throughout our stay was truly exceptional and made the experience even more memorable. The view from the property was breathtaking, and the location itself was spectacular — peaceful, scenic, and a perfect escape from the everyday. Great, welcoming, comfortable stay.

This was an amazing spot. Beautiful setting, close to the action and great restaurants on Thesen Island, but also far enough for a peaceful retreat. My wife and our two young daughters (4 and 6 yr old) loved the comfy and well stocked place. Lots of walks on the Island and plenty to do around the area (animal farms, vineyards, nature walks, etc). We would definitely recommend this spot and we’ll be back to Liddi’s place in the future. Wow!!

Beautifully located within the Thesen Island precinct with access to its facilities this unit is a penthouse with convenient access from your parking directly to the unit. Well maintained and kept well by Douglas who communicates clearly and is always close by if you need additional support.

Werden wir auf jeden Fall empfehlen, wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt, alle waren unheimlich nett und waren hilfsbereit. Die Lage unschlagbar wenn man abends gerne Essen oder bummeln möchte dann ist man dort gut und sicher aufgehoben.

Brilliant value for money! Beautiful apartment with a central location and everything you need for a short or a longer stay. Carla's communication was excellent, and self-checkin was easy with clear instructions. We only stayed one night which was a shame becauce Carla's place would be the perfect base from which to explore Knysna and surroundings. Will definitely stay here again on my next visit

We had an amazing stay at Kosmos Heights. The place is exactly as you see it in the pictures. We had a peaceful stay, felt very homely and we got welcome drinks. The hosts were communicative which made us feel at ease.

I had the most wonderful stay at this apartment in Cape Town, located right on the canals at the V&A Waterfront. The location is unbeatable, just a short walk to the vibrant V&A Waterfront and the Two Oceans Aquarium. The Marina Residential complex is stunning, clean, and incredibly safe – I felt at ease even with my two young children. The apartment itself was perfect, spacious, and beautifully decorated with gorgeous artwork that made it feel like home. We also had access to the homeowner's pool, gym, and cafe, which added an extra level of comfort to our stay. Overall, a fantastic experience, and I would definitely return and highly recommend it to others!

We had a lovely stay, the place is very clean and neat, beautiful views around, and nice that there are restaurants within walking distance. The place is perfect for family of four and I will definitely stay there if in area again.

We had a wonderful weekend, loved it all from the sweet little dogs to the outside shower. It was an excellent home away from home.

Allison was super friendly , gave us great recommendations for activities and kid friendly places. Randomly checked in on us to make sure we were comfortable throughout our stay.

We had a wonderful long weekend at Sunbird Cottage which is very homely in a stunning setting. The farm offered us plenty of opportunity to explore the Wakkerstroom area, and we even enjoyed two walks on the farm itself. The farm fresh milk, eggs and jam were a treat and absolute spoil!

Liebrecht was a great host, very flexible for check in and check out, and the accomodation was beautiful. I highly recommend it! Thanks Liebrecht!

Came here last year as I grew up in the hermitage and brought my Thai fiance and she just fell in love with the place. The animals, nature, mountains and friendly people. Love it here and came back longer this time and will be back every year.

We absolutely loved our stay! Having traveled extensively across South Africa, we can confidently say this spot ranks at the very top of our list. The highlight? Soaking in the hot tub at night beneath the Milky Way—an unforgettable experience. If you’re drawn to peaceful, secluded places where you can connect with nature, read, hike, or simply relax, this is the perfect getaway. Will definitely visit again.

Lovely cottage with beautiful views and surroundings. Great little fireplace to keep warm on those cold nights. They also supply you with plenty wood, which is really helpful. It is an excellent place to go rest and unwind from the busy city life.

This house was a huge surprise for us. It is literally in the middle of nowhere, no neighbors, no roads, just peace and quiet. The area is breathtaking and the views fascinating. The very very best part was that there were soooo many monkeys around (the cute ones though, not the baboons) that were watching us curiously. They didn’t come too close but you were surrounded by them and we watched them all afternoon/evening with some wine and snacks until it got dark and they left. absolutely crazy! In the area is a brewery called Zwakala Brewery. Highly recommend going there! You will miss out if you don’t book this house on your way from Joburg to Kruger. 100% recommended.
