Renuka is such a gracious host. We stayed in a family room on our first night when we landed in Colombo. She gave us a great recommendation for a dinner spot. Our room initially had only 3 sleeping spots (we were 2 adults and 2 small kids) but she gave us a second room when we requested an extra bed. She also made us a lovely breakfast the next day with some delicious butterfly pea tea she had made. She even gave me some seeds to sow at home. A great first stay to kick off our Sri Lankan adventures!

Jagath is one of a kind. He was such a welcoming host and always had a good balance between being helpful and supportive without intruding your own space and plans. If you are interested he can explain a many things about this part of Sri Lanka. He has huge knowledge about history, traditions, food, plants and also current issues. Also the whole estate reflects his interests with a beautiful garden, historic artefacts and an excellent cuisine, we are still missing. Thank you for this wonderful experience.

Мама Маду вкусно готовит- мы с удовольствием покупали у нее обеды. И они нас постоянно угощали вкусняшками) территория ухоженная.-около дома-красивый цветочный сад. за домом домашнее хозяйство домашние буйволы и коровки , телята- их можно кормить.Бегают бурундучки, Гуляют павлины, поют птички, в реке вараны. контактный зоопарк. Если поеду следующей зимой в Шри-Ланку- обязательно остановлюсь у Маду)!!!!

Our two day stay at the Devrai Art Village was a lovely, refreshing one making us feel enthusiastic about a much required holiday. We were looking for some place that would be close to nature but would also allow us to easily access the other things in town. Despite not having much on our list of things to do in Panchgani, we ended up walking around the town quite a bit and the location of the homestay was a perfect enabler for that. The breakfasts were warm and chatty with Atul, Mandakini and Rudransh - definitely one of our takeaways from this trip! Ajji's freshly prepared food and the strong coffee and the ginger tea were things to look forward to alongwith the many laughs we've had at the breakfast table. The sunsets of Panchgani are too good to be true. So, all our plans revolved around the sunsets. The property itself has quiet spots if you'd like to sit out for a bit and while away your time in nature. We will be back here soon in the winters or monsoons.

From the second you set foot on his property, he makes you feel like you are a member of their family. He does not only show concern towards his guests but rather he leaves no stone unturned in trying to fulfill the guests' needs. This level of attention is indeed something that is difficult to find elsewhere. His property is secluded from all the noise maintaining a calm environment because it is surrounded by trees. If you're overwhelmed by city life and want to take a break and start fresh, then look no further. Regardless of where you place him, Ganesh would always make you feel welcome. He and his family would treat you with hospitality that can only be described as genuine. Speaking of food, the home cooked meals served are delightful. They are really nice - both to look at and to eat. So they add a nice touch to the stay. Staying over at Ganesh’s is not just about being a visitor for a couple of days but a wholesome experience. Highly recommend!

The place felt right at home and it was peaceful, calm, and serene. There was a lovely view from the drawing room and it was quite beautiful. We enjoyed our stay. It’s a private property and was easy to find. A proper cottage for a family and a big group. The caretaker was really helpful and provided really good service and cooked home cooked meals that were very healthy and tasty. Overall a must stay.

Sanjay ist ein netter, zuverlässiger und unkomplizierter Gastgeber. Er vermietet zwei Zimmer mit einem privaten Garten, der nur leider wenig Schatten bietet. Obwohl man sehr nah an einer grossen Strasse liegt ist es ruhig. Die unmittelbare Nachbarschaft wirkt zwar heruntergekommen aber man fühlt sich sicher und ist verkehrstechnisch super angebunden. Die Lage ist sehr zentral, nur einen Kilometer vom Connaught Place. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden jederzeit wieder buchen.

Staying here was truly one of the highlights of our trip. The hosts were not just great; they were like family, maybe even better. Their warmth, care, and hospitality made us feel instantly at home. The garden was absolutely incredible, a peaceful green haven we never wanted to leave. And the food? Simply unforgettable delicious, thoughtful, and made with so much love. We couldn’t have asked for better people to stay with. If you’re considering booking this place, stop thinking and just do it. You won’t regret it. Wholeheartedly and genuinely recommended.

Minnie and her family are all really nice people, I enjoyed the stay. Her suggestions for places to go were helpful, and I really enjoyed her breakfasts and chatting in the morning. Not fancy or good for partying, but if you want a comfortable bed and a cozy spot to sleep, in a family house, I would recommend. Also, it is nearby the bus stand to go to both caves. Just a quick 10 minute walj to the local buses.

Es war der schönste Aufenthalt in 3 Wochen Srilanka. Es war ruhig und wunderschön. Wir hatten Zimmer Nr 3, welches offen zur Natur war und es hat uns sehr gefallen. Lova und Lee haben uns super herzlich aufgenommen und haben uns total wohl gefühlt. Wir haben uns einen Roller ganz unkompliziert ausleihen können über einen Bekannten und das hat Spaß gemacht die Umgebung zu erkunden. Die Hunde waren total lieb und es war uns eine Freude ein Teil von Ocean Eye zu sein. Absolute Empfehlung 💓💓

This has been lovely 5-star experience truely comparable to some of the best hotels. Centrally located, yet peaceful, tranquil dwelling with a blooming garden with chirping birds sits right in front of the room, a room thats always looking and smelling divine, adorned in warm colorful tones, filled with amenities, snacks and little treats. The breakfast is delicious, healthy and quite sumptuos. Will surely stay here on my upcoming visits and recommend to anyone visiting Lucknow.

Fijne oase net buiten de stad met prachtige tuin en heerlijk zwembad. Ruime kamer met goed bed en ruime zitjes/ balkon. Voor ons geen probleem dat het iets buiten de stad lag, we konden het belopen en anders Tuktuk snel geregeld. Hield van de kokosrolletjes bij het ontbijt en alles was lekker! De ouders waren heel vriendelijk, leuke gesprekken en goede tips gekregen. Zou zeker terug komen.

A very clean place right in the heart of tapovan. The food from the inhouse restaurant was very delicious.

This is by far one of the most memorable and beautiful stays I have had with Airbnb and I have had a few, the thing that differenciates this place is its people, they are so helpful and they make sure you have a comfortable stay they attend to all the queries and go out of the way to help you. The food specially the breakfast spread is superb not to be missed. Lastly the property is well maintained and in the heart of French town being a 200 year old French Villa it has a charm and my partner and me thoroughly enjoyed our stay a big shoutout to the management for allowing us to experience the property and the hospitality.

Had one of the best experiences at Sunrise palace, we missed our flight and needed a quick booking for a place to stay, I bumped into Sunrise Palace and instantly was booked in. I got to the air bnb it's in the inside street but once the gate opens it looks beautiful, the place is big, sleeps alot of people, extremely clean, balcony in the rooms, extremely clean washrooms, impeccable stay I had the service was phenomenal, the food was fresh and tasty, we all had the omelet and wow it tasted so healthy and gave us fruits and fresh juice, as well as water bottles. This place is just amazing and I will be back in March thank you so much !

We had a fantastic time at Tranquil Waters. It is as named, an incredibly tranquil and relaxing place to stay, beautifully located projecting into the lake and surrounded by a lush garden. The house is very comfortable and we were looked after by both Geeta who cooks amazingly and Sumesh who can arrange boat trips and kayaking. This is all orchestrated by Jacob who was incredibly helpful throughout our stay.

This place was very peaceful and clean. I felt right at home. The bed and sheets were cleaned and it’s a place that’s well maintained. 💖

Excellent service. The staff is warm, polite, they mind their own business and yet make it a 5 star experience with their attention to detail. If you’re looking to stay for a long time, this is it! Laundry, car washing help, coffee at midnight if Chandan was still around: these guys go out of their way to make sure you’re right at home. We met some incredible people at the house which made the trip even more memorable. The hosts are quick to respond and extremely helpful with recommendations and an open library with a treasure trove of books. While There’s plenty to do in and around the village, the house is under 30 minutes from assagao, so getting places didn’t seem hard at all. Especially since we rented a car. All in all, amongst the best travel experiences, especially in Goa.

Excellent treatment, I’ve felt at home from the very first moment and they’ve helped me with everything I needed. The place is very cozy, and the ceiling fan is wonderful. You need to look up the name of the place on Maps because the address is a bit confusing.

L’hébergement chez Jayantha était impeccable. Je vous recommande vivement si vous souhaitez admirer le lever du soleil, juste en allant sur le balcon. Un endroit paisible, sur une montée mais tuktuk pourrait très bien y aller.

Tamarind retreat was an absolute delight , tucked away in quiet corner of Kihim, this place is equipped with everything you would require for a quiet weekend getaway at an amazingly affordable rate. Both Manjusha and her husband were gracious hosts and made us feel at home. The whole property was very clean and nicely maintained. They have two swimming pools as well, which is quite a perk for private gatherings. Their kitchen provides yummy home cooked meals, my only qualm was they don't allow any outside food into the property or the rooms. Regardless, the stay was splendid. The property also houses their cutest pets who are difficult not to fall in love with. Will definitely plan to come back here again.

Wir können uns den vielen positiven Bewertungen nur anschließen. Auf Fotos kommt der atemberaubende Ausblick aus dieser Unterkunft gar nicht richtig zur Geltung. Wir haben so gerne einfach nur da gesessen und den Ausblick genossen - bei Regen war es am schönsten! Die Unterkunft ist wie beschrieben ausgestattet. Aufgrund der Lage in der Natur hatten wir diverse tierische Besucher, aber damit war zu rechnen. Ein weiteres Highlight war das Frühstück, welches wir morgens in die Unterkunft gebracht bekommen haben. Alles war sehr liebevoll angerichtet! Sanjee selber ist ein super Vermieter, er hat uns viele Tipps gegeben, uns aus der Stadt abgeholt, uns zu einem Kochkurs gefahren und freundlicherweise unser Tuktuk das erste Stück des Berges hochgefahren. Wir würden diese Unterkunft immer wieder buchen!
