Your stay will feel like miles from nowhere and yet only 30 minutes from the western suburbs of Minneapolis. This unique setting is a working farm where you can hike two miles of trails, wet a line, relax, kayak from upstream, and get out at the cabin, or make a short drive for local food and entertainment.

This beautiful little cabin sits on the water edge on Indian Lake. Great Lake to fish on. There is a swimming raft that you can swim to along with a paddle boat. Great access to snowmobile trails. This is a small place on a septic system with a NEW ! 40 gallon water heater with only 2 vehicle parking. Please note docks come out of water labor day weekend each year. Pontoon rental $200 per day with Gas, $50 cleaning fee if not clean. Fish house rental available.

Treehouse (LOTR) Stargazer Skycabin

Our LOTR themed treehouse, along with our LOTR Wizard's Cottage, have been described as a "love letter to Tolkien himself." We have been featured on PBS and WJON radio. A manager lives on the acreage, about 200 ft. from the Wizard's Cottage and very far from the treehouse, which is located on the back part of the acreage. It has a fenced-in portion that makes up the Shire Garden. Down the hill is our nod to Mordor. Feel free to visit and dare to open the "Mor Do(o)r."
