We are The Old Winterport Commercial House. Our historic building, once a Stagecoach Stop for travelers, now offers a unique 5 bedroom Bed & Breakfast. Aren't you on a special getaway? Cozy hotel rental at the Acadia Hotel-Downtown. Built in 1884 as a private home, located in the village Center. Private room with full bathroom, QUEEN size bed, cable tv, mini fridge, & wifi. Quite, clean, and the best price in town. These rooms tend to be on the smaller size, and do have SMALL bathrooms. If you are looking for a larger space, look for our Suite Airbnb listing, or book direct though the hotel.

Theoline room

This small, first floor waterfront room is in our historic Main House Inn, and has a large picture window facing the harbor and mountains of Mount Desert Island! Perfect for those who will be spending more time hiking and on the beach It has a queen bed with a private bathroom with tub/shower combination. No A/C, fans provided. Not pet friendly. *Complimenary Wine & Cheese night cancelled for 2021*

Downtown King Hotel Room

Our Standard King room has one large king bed, sitting area, larger bathroom, mini fridge, and flat screen TV. This room comes with access to all of our hotel amenities. Amenities include hot tub, free wireless high speed internet access, off street parking and a light continental breakfast. Stop by our in house lounge, William's On The Green, to enjoy a craft cocktail and light fare. (2 person max)
