Our family of four plus two grandmothers stayed for a college graduation weekend. Tara’s place is exactly as the photos and we felt right at home. It is on a busy street so we told Ubers to pick up at the back entrance. We felt there was very minimal traffic noise and slept very well in the EXTREMELY comfortable beds. Note it is a tri-level living situation so if there are mobility issues consider the stairs. That said, we had two grandmothers (in their 80s) and they were fine. The kitchen was easy to navigate and had all the essentials to make breakfast in the mornings. The location was good for us to sight see and also attend the graduation. I would highly recommend Tara’s home!

Outstanding townhouse and one we hope to return to. Two big bedrooms - both stylish. Lovely ground floor and kitchen and fun basement/rumpus room/man cave. Walked to king street, caught the metro to dc, short walk to two supermarkets and loads of nice close restaurants. Very friendly host. Nicely recently renovated. Too marks from me.

Lara's home was perfect. It was really quiet, comfortable and the location couldn't have been better. Lara and I were in constant contact and she was very helpful with local suggestions. I would definitely stay here again the next time I'm in town...that is if it isn't already booked!

We met at this AirBnB for a 50 year reunion from the US Coast Guard. This unit was in a perfect location, convenient to Clifton, VA where we would meet each day. The unit was very comfortable with all the amenities we needed. It was very clean and had a great kitchen. What is tops in my book is that it is a very quiet townhouse so sleeping each night was great. The only negative was that the keypad for entry didn't work when we arrived but Linda was very responsive to that issue and had someone come over to let us in and to fix the keypad, which turned out to be just a bad connection on the batteries. Linda was always very responsive to questions that we had before arriving. We would definitely stay here again because of the price, location, cleanliness, peace and quiet, and all the nice amenities that were in the unit. Also, we found the parking right in front of the unit was secure and convenient.

This is a great place to stay very comfortable, host was very communicative. We got a notification that we forgot our phone before I even notice. Thank you so much would definitely stay again.

Our family of four was very comfortable here on our mini spring break trip. We loved being walking distance from the water, Metro, and various grocery stores and restaurants, and we were always able to park near the property.

Our stay in Doan's home was really wonderful. The home is beautiful, and the location makes for an easy drive into D.C. for sightseeing. One of the best parts of the home is the parking space provided. We were so thankful to come home each day knowing that we could park right at our house. Thank you for a great stay in Old Town!

Uche was so helpful during our entire stay. From recommending places to eat to sight seeing, he was an amazing host. The home is beautiful and perfect for a couple or traveling with a small child. It was centrally located to King Street and there was plenty of places to walk to nearby. We had an amazing stay. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this location or stay again when we’re in Alexandria. Our trip was amazing.

Ed's place was a wonderful for a weekend getaway. The neighborhood was perfect and very accessible by train, car or bus. The parking was an added bonus which helped since parking in the neighborhood did seem rather limited. The photos are exactly as described, very spacious and had such a cozy feel to it. The check-in process was very easy and Ed provided extremely detailed instructions which made checking in and out a breeze. I would definitely stay at Ed's place again whenever I come back to the Alexandria area.

This was a great location for our family vacation to Washington D.C. It is so close to the Metro, and there are a ton of shops and restaurants in walking distance. We had some minor issues come up, but Philip was quick to respond and fix things when possible. Only negative is that the house is right off the main road, so road noise can be an issue if you are a light sleeper. Otherwise, a great stay, and we would definitely go back!

Pros: Great location in the heart of old town. Easy access to metro and waterfront ferries + free bus in the area. Nice historic building and well kept overall. Great coffee spot across the street. Plenty of restaurants open and with long hours close by. Well stocked kitchen with surprise goodies. Games, books, etc. Unit was well equipped for anything you might need, more than most Airbnbs. Primary bed was comfortable. Shops, drug store and grocery nearby. Owner was responsive with a new code when our original entry code didn’t work- we had best results by calling in that situation as it was more urgent. Cons: A little noisy because of nearby bars but ear plugs and noise machine were provided and it wasn’t bad enough to deter me from a future stay. Couch bed wasn’t comfortable but are they ever? Drain was slow but reported to owner and likely fixed already (we asked him to do it after we left per our preference). We would stay here again and recommend to friends visiting the area.

We loved Floyd’s place! The layout and location were perfect for the 3 of us while we toured schools in the DC area. The location is walkable to a grocery store and restaurants. Parking on the street was not an issue. The space is unique with art and books, which is a nice touch and made it feel homey. The space was super clean and stocked with essentials. We made a few breakfast meals and we weren’t lacking in cookware. And the beds were really comfortable! We had a personal emergency before our arrival and when we messaged Floyd he called us immediately to see how he could support us. It was great to have a host who was not only proactive but really wanted us to enjoy our time in the area and be comfortable in the space. We would rent this space again and work with Floyd anytime! He is a great and responsive host. We had a great time!

This is a basement apartment in a family-friendly neighborhood, a decent spot to stay for those with a car who are visiting loved ones in Alexandria.

Our family of four really enjoyed our stay at Grace’s place! It felt just like home—super cozy and had everything we needed. It was also really convenient being close to supermarkets and great restaurants. We’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable stay in the area!

Best airbnb experience so far. Everything was great, clean rooms, very safe place to stay with family and kids. And for sure our host Tech is the best! He did everything to make our stay comfortable and feel like home. Definitely recommend to everyone!

Everything is exactly as pictured. We felt spoiled staying here! Quiet neighborhood. We were in town for our daughter’s wedding and this provided a relaxing atmosphere . Couches were comfortable for lounging and we slept great in the master bedroom. Very conveniently located to everywhere we needed to go. We would definitely recommend .

We couldn’t have asked for better accommodations during our stay! John’s place was clean and welcoming. The beds were comfortable and the hot water and water pressure were excellent! The backyard space was relaxing at the end of a busy day and we loved the quiet friendly neighborhood atmosphere with tons of walkable restaurants. Next time we are in town we will be booking again!

We loved strolling past beautiful gardens and historic architecture. The bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious, and the large dining table between the cozy living room and well-equipped kitchen was perfect for us. The peaceful backyard with seating and a grill made a lovely spot for morning coffee. Our hostess, Mary, was welcoming and responsive, providing thoughtful touches like teas, coffee, and kitchen essentials. The home was very clean and well organized. In our early 70s, we found the stairs easy to manage thanks to the sturdy handrail. A perfect stay!

We had a great time on our stay and this house fit our needs and was perfect for our stay we loved the area and how their was a playground right down the road we loved how comfortable the house was for our family. I would definitely recommend this house for vacation rental

We had a wonderful stay at Absi’s place. Clear instructions to check in and out. The place was clean and welcoming. It had nice touches that had us feeling right at home. The location is central to all we had plans for. We felt very safe, and it was also nice and quiet. Check out was simple and not a ton of extra tasks for us to do. We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.
